Background

Chisen rose to prominence during the Third Shinobi World War as the Uchiha Clan’s “Lava Beast,” with a reputation comparable to Uchiha Shisui’s. He was regarded as a rare double-Kekkei-Genkai genius and had already awakened the Three-Tomoe Sharingan at a young age. 6 15 38 85

He later joined the Konoha Military Police Force, but his personal doctrine of Absolute Justice isolated him from both major Uchiha factions. Chisen refused to prioritize clan interests, political compromise, or village stability over his own judgment of fairness and wrongdoing. 5 6 23

Before becoming Izumi’s superior, Chisen served under Sarutobi Shinosuke during the Third Shinobi World War. Shinosuke’s later crimes and death at Chisen’s hands became a defining example of Chisen’s refusal to exempt former allies from judgment. 34 36

Personality

Chisen is calm, blunt, and uncompromising. He considers justice a personal moral obligation rather than an instrument of Konoha, the Uchiha Clan, or any political authority. His judgment is severe but not indiscriminate.
