After the Sunagakure ninja were eliminated.
Sakumo Hatake appeared beside Uchiha Jin.
"You were that fast?"
Jin stared at Sakumo Hatake in surprise. He meant both the speed at which he had cleared out the Sunagakure ninja and the speed at which he had used Soru.
Clearing out the Sunagakure ninja had been as easy as chopping melons and vegetables, requiring practically no effort.
And the speed at which he used Soru was astonishingly fast as well. With only the most basic level of Soru, he had already reached a speed Jin could not keep up with at all.
Perhaps he would need to activate his Sharingan to follow him.
Yet Sakumo Hatake looked at him with a profound gaze.
"A man can't be called fast!"
"You dirty-joke jonin, get serious!"
Jin had never imagined Sakumo Hatake would be such a playful person.
The insects gathered into Aburame Mushihime. Her face reddened slightly as she lowered her head.

Sakumo Hatake sheathed his blade and began moving swiftly through the forest again.

Leaping from branch to branch, the three moved at incredible speed.
Jin could even feel the fierce wind blowing against him.
It looked as though Sakumo Hatake was clearing the way ahead, but in truth, Aburame Mushihime was controlling her insects to scout the surrounding routes.
Within the team, Jin was like a completely useless decoration.
Insect chirps suddenly sounded in his ears, making Jin's pupils contract. The faint laziness on his face swiftly vanished, replaced by a stern expression.
He turned to look at Aburame Mushihime beside him, then quickly resumed acting normal.
