Jiang Bei focused his gaze and looked carefully. Before long, he spotted a location marked as a grand hall on the map, beside which was written a small line of text: "Location of the Black Tortoise Waterwood."
Another location beside it was marked as a gorge, likewise bearing a small note: "Location of the Plum-Breaking Saber."
Every location containing an opportunity or inheritance had been marked in writing on the map by the Flame Lord.
"Interesting. I've visited quite a few ruins and ancient tombs before, but this is the first time I've seen someone actively mark where all their inheritances are. This Flame Lord really is generous. It seems he was willing to leave his inheritance to the world."
Jiang Bei was somewhat surprised as well, a faint smile curling at the corner of his lips.
Then, his gaze continued sweeping across the map.
At last, his eyes stopped at a spot to the right of the Heavenly Tomb. A valley was marked there.
Beside the valley was a conspicuous line of small text—"Storage location of the Nine-Turn Life-and-Death Pill"!
"Found it! Since I have this map, I'll get the Nine-Turn Life-and-Death Pill first. It's not far from here. As long as I follow this path straight ahead and pass through those halls and waterways, I can reach that valley."
Jiang Bei's eyes lit up, and his heart relaxed somewhat.
He had originally feared that, within the vast Flame Lord's Heavenly Tomb, finding it would be like searching for a needle in the sea. He had not expected to locate the Nine-Turn Life-and-Death Pill so quickly.
He withdrew his gaze and was about to follow the route marked on the map. Yet at the instant he turned around, his eyes suddenly swept across the very center of the map.
