He paused, his gaze settling on Jiang Bei's shocked face. His expression grew grave. "My main soul fragment remained here in the Flame Lord's Heavenly Tomb. I waited, hoping that one of those hundred or more rising talents would make it here and earn the right to compete for the opportunity within the tomb. If even one person reached this point, there would be hope for my revenge."
