Li Hongtian was pinned to the ground by two men from the Heavenly Eagle Fort, one on either side, his arms twisted behind his back. He struggled to raise his head and look at He Zhentian's grim face, a cold sneer curling his lips. "No. I can't reach him. Even if I could, I would never help you."
"You bastard!"
He Zhentian's expression instantly darkened to the extreme. He abruptly raised his foot and kicked Li Hongtian in the chest. Though he used only a fraction of his strength, the kick still sent Li Hongtian tumbling backward several times.
"Pfft!"
Li Hongtian spat out a great mouthful of blood and slammed into the rubble behind him. Agony tore through his chest, and he curled up on the ground, coughing violently several times.
He Zhentian drew back his foot and glared at Li Hongtian, cursing, "When I ask you a question, just answer honestly! You refused the toast, so now you'll drink the penalty!"
Watching from a distance as He Zhentian kicked Li Hongtian into a bloody tumble, Lu Qingxuan frowned slightly and said, "He Zhentian, why are you tormenting him?
