"Old Xie, are you still not making a move? If you don't act now, I'll take my men in first. If we don't wipe out the Barbarians in Sanmen Town, how are we supposed to answer to the Commandant when we get back?"

Xie Kaiyue glanced at the sky once more, then nodded. "Attack."

"Attack Sanmen Town! Leave no Barbarian alive!"

Xie Kaiyue hesitated no longer either. He likewise led his men racing down the mountain, heading straight for distant Sanmen Town!

All the Barbarians in Sanmen Town had left East Temple.

After receiving the patrol's report, they immediately became alert and began searching the entirety of Sanmen Town for Dry People soldiers.

Just then, a Barbarian ran over in panic and reported.

"So, they came after all. How many of them are there?"

The chief raised his head and asked.

"About a hundred!"

The Barbarian said.

"A hundred?"

The chief swept his gaze over the men around him. They were not at a disadvantage in numbers. "Boys! Let's take them on! Damn it, kill however many come!"

As soon as the words fell, he swung his blade and chopped off the soldier's head. Blood sprayed everywhere!

"Kill!"

The Barbarians raised their arms and roared, their fighting spirit soaring.

Then, a great battle between the Barbarians and Dingzi Camp abruptly erupted in Sanmen Town.

The battle lasted for more than an hour.

It was extraordinarily fierce. Blood flowed through all of Sanmen Town like a river, and corpses lay everywhere.

In the end, Dingzi Camp had the last laugh. Before making their move, they had already investigated these Barbarians in Sanmen Town thoroughly.

Compared to the Barbarians, their preparations had undoubtedly been far more complete.

But if a patrol had encountered Lin Jie and the others on the western side and killed them.

Then why had they not found Jiang Bei's corpse anywhere in the entire town? Why were there only these few bodies?

Lin Jie and the others had been killed by a patrol on the western side, yet Jiang Bei had entered the eastern side, where the Barbarians gathered in heaps, and still managed to leave alive and unharmed?

Though he had claimed on the surface that he would send men from other camps to reinforce Sanmen Town and rescue Lin Jie.

How could someone who knew the truth not realize that Lin Jie had most likely already become a corpse?

On this trip to Sanmen Town, only one of Lin Jie and Jiang Bei could return alive. There was no possibility that both would survive.

With Lin Jie's temperament, he would definitely have made a move against Jiang Bei in Sanmen Town.

But now, it seemed.

The one who had truly laughed last was Jiang Bei!

Xiang Kun had failed to see it before. He had never imagined that this boy's methods would be so extraordinary, leaving Lin Jie in Sanmen Town forever!
