Steve had also arrived at the scene by then, but he did not attend the meeting. Instead, he called in.
Looking at the caller ID, Natasha answered the phone.
Steve asked, "Are you okay?"
Natasha said, "Uh, I'm fine. Thanks. I got lucky."
As Natasha listened to the voice coming through the phone, she immediately glanced around. She realized Steve seemed to be nearby as well, then quickly said, "I know Barnes matters to you, but you have to listen to me."
"Stay home, or this is going to get worse."

Steve asked, "Are you going to arrest me?"
Natasha shook her head and said, "I won't, but someone else will."
"That's what'll happen if you interfere."
Steve looked at Natasha from a distance, then said, "If he's in that bad a shape, then I'm the one who should bring him in."
