Half an hour after Charlotte Doyle and the others left.

Abram Tarasov arrived at a suburban factory in Brooklyn with a large group of underlings.

A bodyguard held a black umbrella over Abram and escorted him into the factory.

Inside and outside the factory, everything was eerily quiet.

Abram's Strategist stepped forward and said, "They're all dead. Not a single brother survived."

Abram Tarasov's face twitched as he said, "Looks like we came too late."

"Do you know who did it?"

"Did they leave any clues?"

Abram asked two questions in succession. The Strategist paused before saying, "Abram, come take a look over here."

All the bodies in the factory had been dragged over by the men and laid out neatly in an open area nearby.

Abram Tarasov walked over and looked. There were more than forty bodies. Some had been reduced to a bloody mess, while severed limbs were piled together, creating an exceptionally grim and terrifying sight.

Abram Tarasov tightened his overcoat, trying to stop himself from feeling so cold.

Looking at the bodies on the ground, Abram Tarasov frowned. Aside from three corpses crushed to death by the security door, the rest had either been injured by explosions or had their throats slit. There were barely any gunshot wounds.

The Strategist approached Abram Tarasov carrying a piece of cloth. Several shuriken and kunai lay atop it.

"Abram, we found these on some of the bodies. They should have been left behind by the killer."

At the sight of the shuriken and kunai, Abram Tarasov's massive body actually swayed.

Then he muttered, "It was a ninja!"

Hearing Abram's words, the Strategist asked curiously,

"What?"

Seeing the blank look on his Strategist's face, Abram said, "The one who did this was Charlotte Doyle."

"After Night Demon John Wick, he was the second Legendary Assassin from the Continental Hotel to earn his own title."

"Because he primarily uses shuriken and kunai, he is called the Ninja."

"With nothing but these cold weapons that look like children's toys, Charlotte Doyle once slaughtered an entire fully armed Black gang."

Hearing Abram say this, the Strategist was clearly shocked as well. His mouth hung open. It was too unbelievable.

Glancing at the forty-odd corpses on the ground, the Strategist nodded blankly. Someone really could do all this.

After all, the evidence was right in front of him. He had no choice but to believe it.

Abram Tarasov asked, "What happened with the vault on the basement level? How much did we lose?"

The Strategist hesitated before answering, "Everything is gone. Other than some empty boxes, there was nothing left."

"Damn it. Bastards."

Abram Tarasov cursed, "Damn Rusev, damn Viggo. Look at the kind of people you father and son provoked."

After cursing for a while, he ordered, "Leave some people behind to clean up the scene. The rest of you, come back with me."

After saying that, Abram Tarasov returned to the car under the escort of three bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Viggo, the boss Abram had cursed, was engaged in a fierce battle with John Wick in the pouring rain.

Though Viggo Tarasov was a mob boss, his fighting skills were ultimately inferior to those of the professional assassin John Wick. He was clearly at a disadvantage in close combat.

Viggo Tarasov suddenly pulled a short knife from behind his back and stabbed it at the unarmed John Wick.

The two exchanged several blows, but neither managed to injure the other. Then Viggo Tarasov seized an opening, gripped the short knife, and thrust it toward John Wick's abdomen.

John Wick reacted in time and caught the stabbing hand with both hands. Viggo's knife-wielding hand was trapped in John Wick's grip, and the two fell into a stalemate. Viggo immediately struck John in the neck several times with his other hand, then grabbed his head.

But despite taking those heavy blows, John Wick did not release Viggo's captured hand. Instead, he stared deeply at the short knife, then shoved Viggo Tarasov's hand toward himself and drove the blade into his own abdomen.

Then, gripping Viggo Tarasov's arm, he exerted force and snapped it on the spot.

"Ah~"

The pain of the fracture made Viggo Tarasov cry out instantly, and he staggered back again and again.

Seeing John approach, Viggo immediately counterattacked, knocking John backward with a single punch.

As John Wick retreated, he glanced at the short knife in his abdomen, gripped its handle with both hands, and pulled it out in an instant.

Viggo moved in to press his advantage. As he swung a punch, John Wick blocked it with his arm and took the opportunity to drive the short knife into the right side of Viggo's neck and shoulder.

Viggo Tarasov was struck in a vital spot. In a final counterattack, he punched John Wick to the ground. His own body went limp at once, and he collapsed into a seated position, clutching the wound on his neck as he quietly watched John Wick.

John Wick also sat on the ground, both hands pressing against the wound in his abdomen.

Knowing that he did not have long to live, Viggo Tarasov said in the pouring rain, "John, I'll be waiting for you in Hell."

John Wick clutched his wounded abdomen and replied, "All right. See you there."

Then he forced himself to his feet and staggered away through the rain.

Viggo Tarasov closed his eyes.

Elsewhere.

Ginny had driven Charlotte Doyle to the entrance of the Chrysler Building. After parking the car, she watched as Charlotte Doyle was about to get out and said,

"Charlotte, aren't you going to invite me upstairs for a drink?"

As she spoke, Ginny brushed aside the golden hair hanging beside her ear, making herself look especially alluring.

As Charlotte Doyle looked at Ginny, he opened the car door and said, "Ginny, it's getting late. We still have work tomorrow, so hurry home."

After saying that, Charlotte Doyle got out of the car and told Ginny, "Good night, Ginny!"

"Be careful on the way home. Sweet dreams!"

With that, Charlotte Doyle turned and entered the Chrysler Building.

Ginny, still in the sports car, raised her middle finger at Charlotte Doyle's retreating back and cursed, "Bastard."

Then she slammed down on the accelerator. The fiery red Ferrari spun on the spot, made a U-turn, and sped away.

Charlotte Doyle did not see what happened behind him, but he could more or less guess how embarrassed and angry Ginny must have been.
