Elena Morse (Guaranteed 20006000)
the next day.
As the morning sunlight streamed into the room through the windowpane, Charlotte slowly opened her eyes.
The first thing I do when I open my eyes is sign in!
Ding! Sign-in successful! Reward: 30,000 copper coins!
Charlotte wasn't bothered by the 30,000 copper coins; he wasn't particularly short of them at the moment. Ginny had transferred 10 million to his account a while ago, and he hadn't yet converted the copper coins.
Of course, not being short of money doesn't mean she doesn't need it. Charlotte still hopes to Dodo money as possible, after all, several hundred million copper coins might not be enough.
After getting up, washing up, and tidying herself up briefly, Charlotte left her room and headed downstairs.
Since the Agency was temporarily converted, you'll have to pass the service desk in the lobby to get to the Dining Area.
As Charlotte passed by the service counter, she saw that the person who should have been standing there Umino Iruka, had been replaced by a beautiful blonde woman.
Charlotte walked curiously to the service counter, looked at the somewhat familiar woman in front of her, and asked, "Who are you?"
"Hello, Boss, I am Yelena Morse."
"Golden Secretary assigned me to be in charge of reception at the service desk, and to handle matters such as the previous task registration for the Adjudicator Umino Iruka."
Seeing Yelena Morse's outstretched hand, Charlotte gently squeezed it and then let go.
"So you're in charge of taking over from Umino Iruka. Then I'll leave this place to you."
After speaking, Charlotte turned and left the service counter, heading towards the Dining Area.
As soon as I sat down at a table in the Dining Area, a server came over with a menu.
"Sir, what do you need?"
Charlotte took the menu from the waiter, glanced briefly at the page with breakfast on it, and then said, "Sandwich, a glass of hot milk, please!"
"Please wait a moment!" The waiter took the menu and turned to leave.
Seeing the sudden appearance of people in the Agency, Charlotte knew it was Ginny's arrangement, but Yelena Morse at the reception desk seemed vaguely familiar.
However, she couldn't quite place where she had seen them before. Although Perkins and Barbara Morse looked alike, their temperament and style were very different, which made it difficult for Charlotte to connect the two.
After all, Charlotte hadn't had much contact with Perkins, and he had died long ago at the hands of the hotel. Charlotte had long since forgotten about the dead.
Soon, the waiter came up with a tray.
"Sir, here is your breakfast."
Looking at the sandwich and hot milk in front of her, Charlotte picked up the sandwich and took a bite; it tasted surprisingly good.
The sandwiches were even better than those at regular restaurants. It seems Ginny really put a lot of thought into choosing the right person. Although Charlotte hadn't tried the other dishes yet, Charlotte was confident that the chef was quite skilled; one sandwich was enough to give her a glimpse into his abilities.
Charlotte had just finished breakfast and hadn't even had a chance to do anything when the phone rang.
"Excuse me, are you Mr. Charlotte Doyle?"
"I'm Happy, Tony's bodyguard. We've met before."
"Tony asked me to send this to you, but it seems your Agency has changed its address."
At that moment, a truck stopped next to the old site of the Agency, which was being rebuilt. Happy looked at the Charlotte Agency sign next to it with some surprise.
"Tony has something to give me? Okay, I'll be right out."
Upon hearing that it was Tony who sent the gift, Charlotte immediately thought of the Mark I. After all, this wasn't the day for Pakkun to deliver dog food, and besides, delivering dog food didn't require sending Happy.
Stepping out of the Agency, Charlotte saw Happy's muscular physique and gestured for him to stand over there.
Soon, several staff members pushed a cart with a rectangular box on it, which looked like a the Fridge.
Happy walked up to Charlotte and asked curiously, "Sir, is your Agency under reconstruction?"
Charlotte nodded and replied, "Yes, Happy!"
As the staff pushed the box over, Happy said, "Tony said the parts are assembled, but they're not painted on and look like the original, though he said they've been polished."
"Happy, please tell Tony thank you for me!"
"Would you like to come in for a drink?"
Upon hearing Charlotte's invitation, Happy declined, saying, "No, Mr. Charlotte, I'm still at work."
OK!
Charlotte ignored it, walked up to a few staff members, grabbed the wooden frame of the box, lifted it up in one go, and then turned and went into the Agency.
Meanwhile, the three people pushing the box on a trolley were somewhat dumbfounded. Others might not know the weight of this thing, but the three responsible for moving it knew very well that it weighed 4.5 tons. They had used a hydraulic trailer to unload it.
It's unbelievable that the man in front of me could carry it inside so easily; is he some kind of superhuman?
Happy saw that Charlotte had received the item, and then turned and left with his staff. His task was to witness Charlotte signing for the item.
At the service desk, Barbara, using the alias Yelena, saw Charlotte carrying a huge suitcase and immediately rushed over to help Charlotte.
While seemingly offering help, Yelena was actually trying to figure out what Charlotte was holding.
"Boss, what is this? Should I call a few people to help carry it upstairs?"
Charlotte smiled and said, "It's a figurine. I don't need anyone else's help; I can carry it to my room myself."
Barbara grabbed the wooden frame and tried to lift it, but found that she couldn't lift it even an inch. She tried again with all her might, but still couldn't lift it at all, so she gave up the idea of helping.
Watching Charlotte Doyle easily carry him upstairs, he began to speculate about Charlotte's strength.
It's important to know that although she is a woman, she is quite strong. The fact that she couldn't lift it even with all her strength means that the object must be quite heavy, weighing at least several tons.
Barbara was unaware that the box Charlotte was carrying contained a weight of 4.5 tons.
Watching Charlotte Doyle disappear down the stairwell, Barbara had a guess: a strongman?
Impossible. Even world Champion- level strongmen can only lift 500 kilograms. Charlotte just now easily lifted it with one arm, which is something no strongman could possibly do.
Super Soldier?
Were they trained by some secret organization? United Kingdom? Russia? Or some weirdo who escaped from Laboratory?
