Viktor's Awakening
On the other side.
The doctor, leading a team, boarded an armored vehicle and hid in the woods outside the Vampire Castle, secretly monitoring every move outside the castle.
Michael, who had been on the run, took a taxi back to the Vampire Castle while being pursued by the police.
Seeing Michael return on the monitor, Selene told Michael that she would be out soon.
In the Monitoring Room, watching Selene about to leave, Kraven said angrily:
"If you go with him, never come back here."
Hearing the threat, Selene turned around and stared at Kraven expressionlessly, saying:
"Now that Viktor has woken up, let's see what he has to say about this."
After saying that, Selene left the Monitoring Room without looking back, leaving Kraven completely bewildered.
It was only then that Kraven realized that Selene had broken the committee's Rules and awakened Viktor a century ahead of schedule, when the next ruling era should have been Elder Marcus's.
······
Upon arriving at the garage, Selene chose a Maserati and drove off. Reaching the castle gate, she saw Michael shivering in the rain Selene rolled down the window, saying, "Get in."
After Michael got into the car, the Maserati started and drove off into the distance.
However, what Selene didn't know was that the Werewolf doctor had been monitoring everything from outside the woods. Seeing Michael get into the other person's car and leave, he immediately gave the order:
"Follow them slowly, without letting them notice you."
······
Kraven, who was in the castle, hurried to the place where Elder Viktor was sleeping.
Looking around, he didn't see anything different. Just then, Elektra came in and immediately explained to Kraven, "See? I warned her."
"I warned her, but she wouldn't listen. I should have told you sooner."
Kraven looked at Elektra in front of him and asked, "Tell me what?"
Elektra paused for a moment before speaking, "Her man, Michael."
"He's not human at all, he's Werewolf."
Upon hearing this news, Kraven roared incredulously, "What?"
Just then, another somewhat aged voice suddenly came from inside the room. "Why is it so noisy?"
Upon hearing this, Kraven's expression froze, and he thought to himself: Elder Viktor has been awakened prematurely after all.
Kraven turned his head and looked in the direction of the sound.
At this moment, Viktor emerged from the corner of the room, behind him a dense array of IV tubing.
Countless drops of crimson blood flowed through IV tubing, restoring Viktor's strength.
Viktor slowly walked over, stood in front of the stone bench, looked at his two subordinates, and waved to Elektra beside him, saying, "Get out."
Elektra received the order and left the room immediately without lingering, leaving only Viktor and Kraven in the room.
"Do you know why I was awakened, servant?"
Kraven knelt on one knee, head bowed, and replied, "I don't know, Master."
"But I'll find it soon."
Upon hearing this answer, Viktor asked, "You mean find her?"
"Yes, Master."
Viktor said with his eyes closed, "You must bring her to see me. We have a lot to talk about, Selene and I."
"She sent me a lot of annoying things, things that should have been dealt with immediately."
"Our organization has become weak and decadent."
"Perhaps I should consider other people to manage my affairs."
At this moment, Viktor, who was reprimanding Kraven, suddenly gasped for breath and said weakly, "Even so, many of the memories she transmitted are chaotic and lack a sense of time."
Clearly, the large amount of disordered memories, coupled with the lack of a sense of time, made Viktor, who had just awakened, feel unwell.
Seeing this, Kraven, who was kneeling on the ground, immediately said, "Please, Master, let me gather reinforcements. You should rest."
Upon hearing the word "rest," Viktor immediately calmed his breathing and said firmly, "I've rested enough."
"All you should do is summon Marcus."
Kraven glanced at the mechanism on the ground that would awaken Marcus, then said, "But he is still asleep, Master."
"Amelia and the Council will arrive here tomorrow night to wake Marcus, not you."
"You were awakened a full century earlier than expected."
Upon hearing his servant's words, Viktor's eyes deepened, as if he were deep in thought.

On the other side.
Selene drove Michael away into the distance.
As Selene drove, she said, "Never come back here again, they'll kill you."
Michael shouted incredulously at Selene, "Why? Who are you people?"
Selene looked at the panting Michael and the blood-soaked clothes on his shoulder, then immediately pulled open his clothes at the shoulder and knew that Elektra hadn't lied to her; Michael had been marked by the Werewolf.
Selene sighed helplessly upon seeing the result.
"You are now caught in the middle of a war that has been going on for over a thousand years."
"A bloody conflict between Vampire and Werewolf."
After a pause, Selene said, "I hope you're lucky. Most people die within an hour of being bitten by Werewolf."
"The virus we transmitted is deadly."
At that moment, Michael suddenly said, "If you bite me, will I become Vampire?"
You will die!
"No one can survive the initial embrace of the two races."
Turning to look at Michael again, Selene said, "The right thing to do was to stop the car and kill you."
Upon hearing Selene's words, Michael roared angrily, "Then why did you help me?"
"I don't!"
"I'll stalk you, then kill your Werewolf kind."
"My only interest is in why the Werewolf need you so desperately."
Soon Selene led Michael to an old building, the circular staircase indicating the building's age.
Michael, reflecting on his situation, asked curiously, "I saw some things, some hallucinations."
"They are not hallucinations, they are memories."
"He bit you, and his memories have been transferred to you."
After walking up to the rooftop, Selene opened the door and said, "This is one of the places we use for interrogations; it should be safe."
Upon entering the room, Selene turned on the lights and opened the blinds. She then went to the Fridge, took out a bag of blood, and tossed it to Michael.
Michael took the blood pack, looking bewildered for a moment, then looked at the label and read, "Zaldes Industries?"
