Seeing Dave's surprised expression, he reminded him, "It's the Grimhold you took from the store; the thing inside is incredibly powerful."

Hearing the noise coming from inside the room, Dave looked up towards the door and saw several wolves filing out and charging towards him. Seeing this, Dave cried out in alarm, "Wolves! No... no... no... no!"

Without daring to delay for even a moment, Dave quickly ran downstairs.

Running out of the apartment building, Dave quickly ran towards the light rail overpass next to him. Just then, a neighbor who had gone upstairs was about to enter the Yuan Sect and turned around to see several wolves rushing out from inside.

Just then, the subway station's announcement came on. "Marcy Avenue Station, Queen Street to Steer Hills Avenue."

Dave quickly ran to the turnstile, trying to swipe his card to enter, but failed several times in a row. Finally, he managed to swipe his card and enter before the wolves caught up with him.

Once inside, seeing the big gray wolf blocked by the turnstile, Dave quickly shouted, "Don't come any closer, big gray wolf!"

Dave ran into the subway station and quickly hid under the light rail, but was still discovered by the pack of wolves that ran in. Seeing this, Dave ran forward frantically, but suddenly tripped over his own feet and fell on the light rail.

Seeing this, Maxim ordered the pack of wolves beside him, "Kill him!"

At this moment, Dave felt despair and covered his face with his hands, shouting, "No..."

One after another, big gray wolves jumped from the platform onto Dave, only to instantly transform into puppies that landed on him. Dave was stunned for a moment when he saw the adorable puppies in front of him.

Upon seeing this, Maktoum frowned slightly. Just then, an Iron Eagle descended from the sky, knocking Maxim off the platform and onto the light rail.

Dave watched as the Steel Eagle fell from the sky and exclaimed, "Oh my God!"

At this moment, Balthazar, standing atop the Steel Eagle, spoke up, "Dave, where are the Grimhold?"

Dave pointed to Maxim behind him and said, "Ah... he... he... he... he..."

Seeing this, Balthazar cast a spell at Maxim, interrupting his casting.

Just then, the light rail train was about to depart, and Balthazar shouted to Dave, "Hurry up, hurry up!"

Hearing the train whistle behind him, Dave immediately climbed onto the Steel Eagle. To prevent the train driver from witnessing this horrifying scene, Balthazar waved his hand and stuck a newspaper to the driver's window, temporarily blocking the driver's view.

Seeing that Dave had climbed up, Balthazar cast a defensive spell behind him and immediately had the giant eagle carry the two away.

At this moment, Maxim's magic was finally successfully released, but it collided with Balthazar's defensive magic and canceled each other out. Seeing the approaching train, Maktoum hurriedly climbed onto the platform and watched the two departing figures in silence for a long time.

Balthazar flew Dave back to the building where the Steel Eagle had just been activated, landing on the rooftop. Dave, panting heavily after jumping off the eagle, grabbed the railing and exclaimed, "This isn't real! This isn't real! I'm scared out of my wits!"

As he stroked the Steel Eagle's head, Balthazar said, "Relax, Dave, take a deep breath."

He then shouted angrily, "Do you know that?"

As he tied the note to the pigeon's leg, Balthazar said, "Listen to me carefully, Dave."

"Maxim has always wanted to unleash his Morganian Gang destroy the world, and we must not let him succeed."

Dave nodded and said, "Yes, of course."
