On the other side.

After leaving Charlotte Agency, Balthazar drove his car to his former Arcana Cabana.

Seeing his former house transformed into an electronics mall, Balthazar parked his car on the side of the road and went inside.

Upon entering, he discovered that although the items and objects had changed, the building itself was still the same building, so he went directly to the place where he had hidden his belongings.

Reaching the wall beside the stairs, Balthazar waved his hands, and the brick wall instantly transformed into a door. Balthazar Gate of Opening, revealing a small storage room containing a package.

Balthazar took out the package, opened it, and took out a parchment. It contained a spell, a magic spell that described how to kill one of the two souls in a body without harming the other. However, Balthazar had never been able to master it.

After glancing at the parchment, Balthazar put it back in the package and took out a small cloth bag from it, inside which was a necklace.

Balthazar glanced at the necklace, thought of his lover, then put it in his pocket, returned the package to its original place, and cast a magical seal.

The morning passed quickly.

After having lunch with Becky, Dave said, "That concludes today's lesson. Now I'll take you to see an interesting place."

Dave then took Becky to his Laboratory.

Upon arriving at the Laboratory, Dave began the Nexus the wires to the Tesla Coil and said, "I want to show you something."

Becky looked at the things being discharged in the Laboratory and asked curiously, "What are all these?"

As Dave prepared, he began, "This is Tesla Coil."

"These can be used to generate what is known as plasma."

"The problem is that I used to focus too much on their technical features and didn't even notice how beautiful they were!"

Dave quickly completed his preparations and entered the iron cage placed in the center of the Laboratory, a safe zone isolated from plasma.

Dave opened the cage door, stood inside, and said to Becky, "I want you to come into my cage."

Upon hearing Dave's invitation, Becky smiled and said, "Okay, this is the first time someone has said something like that to me."

He then entered the iron cage and stood beside Dave.

Dave closed the iron gate and said, "That's not surprising."

"Please grip this bar firmly with both hands."

"Good!"

After seeing Becky do as instructed, Dave turned off the Laboratory lights and then typed a few words on the computer.

"Alright, please stand still. The show is now beginning."

As Dave finished speaking, several Plasma Lightning appeared in the Laboratory, striking the two people standing in the Faraday Cage.

Since both of them were inside the Faraday Cage, they were completely safe and there was no danger whatsoever.

The sudden flash of Flash startled Becky.

Then, he exclaimed in amazement at the sight before him, "Oh my God!"

Becky looked at Dave with admiration and asked, "How did you do that?"

"The coil will produce sparks under high-frequency conditions, and the sparks will make a sound when they pass through the air, which sounds a bit monotonous."

Becky looked at everything before her with curiosity, but the chaotic Plasma Lightning soon stopped.

At that moment, Dave quietly tapped a few keys on the keyboard, and the frequency of the plasma sparks changed, as if playing a piece of music.

Becky realized what was happening after a few seconds and immediately exclaimed excitedly to Dave, "You listened to the radio!"

"I played this piece that night."

Dave didn't answer Becky's question directly, but instead said, "These coils are like my life; I've been here with them for two whole years."

"They played beautiful music, but I never paid attention to it, let alone thought of appreciating it."

Until I met you.

"I heard you discussing music on the show, and I..."

Becky smiled happily as she listened to Dave's words.

After enjoying the beautiful music played by the Tesla Coil, the two left the Laboratory.

Dave drove Becky back to New York University, and the two walked to the school's Athletic Facility.

Becky arrived at the door of the Yoga Room, looked at Dave, and said, "I'm going in."

Watching Becky about to leave, Dave asked, "Will we ever see each other again?"

"I mean a little while, at eight o'clock, in my Laboratory."

Upon seeing Dave's invitation, Becky smiled and agreed, "Okay, okay, that's great!"

Dave asked, "With me?"

Becky laughed and said, "With you, of course."

It's a deal.

Becky waved and said, "The yoga is about to begin."

Dave waved goodbye and said, "Okay, I need to go to the restroom."

After saying that, he ran towards the restroom.

In the restroom, Dave hummed excitedly as he relieved himself. "I went on a date with a girl because I'm handsome."

My heart is singing.

At that moment, Redek walked into the restroom and said, "So it was you!"

Hearing the voice beside him, Dave, while zipping up his jacket, said in confusion, "Oh, sorry."

"You're Balthazar's new apprentice?"

"He doesn't look like someone who should be studying magic at all."

Looking at the man walking towards him, Dave asked blankly, "Who are you? Do you know my master?"

Drake chuckled, "Okay, don't be nervous."

Drake then gently kicked his foot to the side, and the urinals and all the toilets in the bathroom started to flush automatically.

Dave asked, puzzled, "What's this?"

Drake, a hint of excitement in his eyes, said, "That way, no one will be able to hear you crying, right?"

Dave looked at the man in front of him, extended one hand, and said, "I... I don't know who you are at all."

Upon hearing this answer, Dred's expression suddenly changed, and he said with a hint of anger in his voice, "What? You don't recognize me?"

Dave looked at the other person's attire and asked in surprise, "You're... part of the Depeche Mode?"

Drake angrily grabbed Dave by the shirt, pulled him against the wall, lifted Dave into the air, and pinned him to the wall.

How much do you weigh?

Upon hearing the question suddenly asked, Dave instinctively replied, "160 pounds."

Drake released his hands, leaving Dave suspended in mid-air.

Dave watched as the other person turned and took a couple of steps away, then helplessly spread his hands and said, "It feels like I've gone back to high school."
