S.H.I.E.L.D. Pays a Visit

Charlotte tried out Hidan's ultimate move, 'Jujutsu: Jashinism,' in the system's Training Ground. It has to be said that this move is really monstrous, but it also really hurts.

To kill an opponent, one must execute oneself; one must bear the same pain as the enemy. Moreover, Hidan frequently makes sacrifices to Jashin.

This Ninjutsu is something only a madman could withstand—the constant suicide methods, including piercing the heart, cutting off the head, burning, and other attacks on vital organs.

Charlotte believed that even if Hidan had a firm belief in the Jashin, his heart must have already gone mad, and this Ninjutsu was truly not something an ordinary person could master.

After quickly mastering both of their Ninjutsu, Charlotte exited the System Space and went to the Summoning Realm to deliver Gamakichi's Tanto.

Back at the Agency, Charlotte left the room, convinced that even his mentor Balthazar, had had enough time to make love with Veronica.

Upon reaching the information desk downstairs, Charlotte asked, "Iruka, have Professor Balthazar and the others come down?"

They are dining in the Dining Area.

Upon arriving at the Dining Area, Charlotte immediately spotted Balthazar and Veronica and walked straight over.

At that moment, Balthazar was telling Veronica about the interesting things he had encountered over the past dozen centuries when he heard someone approaching. He looked up and saw Charlotte walking towards him.

When Charlotte arrived, Balthazar immediately said, "Thank you, Charlotte."

"You not only killed Morgana, but you also saved my junior sister Veronica."

Seeing the grateful look on Balthazar's face, Charlotte quickly said, "Teacher, it's what I should do."

At this moment, Balthazar introduced Charlotte, "This is my junior sister, Veronica, and also my lover."

He then said to Veronica, "This is my apprentice Charlotte Doyle, who will soon succeed to the Prime Merlinian."

"Hello!"

After they covered each other's hands, Charlotte pulled out a chair and sat down at the table in Balthazar.

Balthazar looked at Charlotte and then said, "Now that you have killed Morgana, it is time for you to succeed Prime Merlinian."

"Later, Veronica and I will return to the Magic World to prepare for your succession ceremony Prime Merlinian. Many Mage will be present."

"My teacher Merlin left you with quite a few good things in the Magic World. Although I used some of them while hunting Morganian Gang, there are still quite a few left."

"As for the Magic World and magical equipment you're looking forward to, you'll learn more about them after you take over as Prime Merlinian."

Charlotte nodded, then said seriously, "I understand, Professor Balthazar."

At this moment, Balthazar stood up, holding Veronica's hand, and said, "Then we'll go prepare for your succession ceremony. I'll let you know in advance when everything is ready."

After saying that, Balthazar took Veronica away from the Agency, got into his old car, and disappeared at the end of the road.

Seeing the leftovers on the table in front of her, Charlotte moved to another table, called the waiter, and ordered a Beef Wellington and red wine.

Charlotte was still full of curiosity about the Magic World. Apart from the Mystic Arts Sorcerer of Kamar-Taj that he knew, he didn't know much about other Mage.

I wonder what kind of Magic World it will be. But considering that even the position of Prime Merlinian has been vacant for over a dozen centuries, this Magic World must have many gaps. I hope that magical equipment won't be so scarce as to be outrageous.

At the same time, Charlotte also remembered something: she had forgotten to ask Balthazar where he had moved the evil mages who were originally imprisoned inside the Grimhold. It seemed she would only have a chance to find out next time they met.

After Charlotte waited a while, the waiter brought out the Beef Wellington and the decanted red wine.

Charlotte cut a piece of steak and put it in her mouth. The baked steak was rich and flavorful, with a golden and tempting crust that concealed a rich layer of ham and mushrooms, and inside was tender and juicy filet mignon. It left a lingering fragrance on her lips and teeth!

Taking a sip of Bordeaux dry red wine, the taste is quite good.

Just as Charlotte was finishing her steak, the Agency door was pushed open, and Coulson walked in with several agents, each carrying a Suitcase. They went straight to the Agency's service desk.

"Mr. Iruka, I have a mission request that I need to trouble Mr. Charlotte with."

Iruka glanced at Coulson and his group of five, especially the Suitcase in the hands of the other four agents, and a smile appeared on his face.

Please wait in the Reception Room.

They then arranged for one of the Agency's staff to lead Coulson and the others to the Reception Room.

After watching Coulson and the others leave, Iruka picked up the landline on the service counter and dialed the number.

Charlotte had just put down her knife and fork and was about to get up and leave when the phone rang, so she answered it immediately.

"Lord Charlotte, Agent Coulson from S.H.I.E.L.D.. has come to request a mission. He brought four agents, each carrying a case."

"Okay, I understand."

"Take a few blank Mission Scroll to the Reception Room later."

After giving Iruka a brief explanation, Charlotte hung up the phone. She then thought about the purpose of Coulson and the others' visit today: the major battle that took place at Battery Park last night had attracted the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Having guessed the purpose of the visitor's visit, Charlotte picked up the red wine on the table, took another sip, and then got up and left the Dining Area, heading towards the Reception Room.

Coulson sat alone inside, while four agents stood guard outside the door. The Suitcase he had brought were all taken into the room.

Just as Coulson was waiting, the Bluetooth Headset inside his cochlea suddenly made a sound.

"Coulson, the Bronze Bull in Battery Park has been found. It's on the rooftop of the MetLife Building. I've sent the photos to your phone."

Upon hearing the words, Coulson took out his phone and looked at the photos, which showed several pictures of the rooftop terrace.

Just as Coulson was pondering this unbelievable matter, the door to the Reception Room was opened, Charlotte Doyle walked in.
