Meanwhile, Charlotte was secretly delighted. It was said that the Arc Reactor Tony developed later used elements that were isotopes of the Space Stone, and it turned out to be true. She just didn't know whether this thing or the Energy Block would be more valuable after being recharged, and what its price would be.

Charlotte glanced at the latest version of the Arc Reactor in her hand, then returned it to Tony and asked, "How much did this thing cost?"

When Charlotte suddenly asked about the cost, Tony was a little surprised. After thinking for a moment, he replied, "The cost is around 30 million, but I don't plan to sell this thing. Even for the clean energy sector, I'll only use the old Palladium Arc Reactor."

"You're asking this because you have some plans."

Charlotte pondered for a moment, then said, "I need this thing, but not your Arc Reactor; I need the elements inside."

"The condition for this mission is that you sell me this New Element, how about that?"

Tony said, somewhat incredulously, "Wait, you mean we don't need the matching Arc Reactor, but rather this New Element?"

"Yes, you can package this New Element in other forms and sell it to me."

"As for the price, given our friendship, you can't charge me too much, can you?"

Tony was silent for a moment, as if making a decision, before finally laughing and scolding, "You shrewd businessman, no wonder you asked me about the cost. I should have said one hundred million."

Then, changing the subject, he asked, "What do you need it for?"

"This New Element is not only the energy source for your Iron Man Armor, but it's also a good material for the Supernatural World, so I need it, and the quantity won't be small in the short term."

"Okay, I promise you, but you have to promise me one thing too."

"What's up?"

"It's a small matter. You know, Rhodey and you are both my friends. Last time, that guy was a bit tongue-tied and offended you..."

"OK, let him in."

Standing outside the door, Rhodey felt utterly helpless. Tony had found him last night and told him he had to apologize to Charlotte, saying he wanted them to shake hands and make peace.

As an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, and one in such an important position as overseeing arms procurement, Rhodey was initially reluctant to apologize to someone of that background.

However, considering the opponent's terrifying strength and Tony's persuasion, Rhodey secretly told himself that he was definitely not being cowardly, but simply following his heart.

Rhodey, who was lost in thought outside the door, suddenly saw the door open and Tony appear.

"Come in, he and I have already agreed."

Rhodey followed Tony in, glanced at Charlotte Doyle, then walked over and apologized, "I'm sorry, I was very offensive last time, please forgive my rudeness."

Seeing Rhodey' outstretched hand and Tony's gaze, Charlotte finally extended her hand to shake hands with Rhodey and make peace.

"Okay, I accept your apology. I did it to stop you and Tony from continuing this mess."

Seeing the two shake hands and talk, Tony immediately opened the whiskey in the room, poured three glasses, and then gave one to each of Rhodey and Charlotte, saying, "Come on, let's celebrate this wonderful day."

The three of them picked up their glasses and drank, thus putting the matter behind them. After chatting for a while, Ginny walked in and said, "Charlotte, it's your turn."

Charlotte followed Ginny out of the room and onto the prepared stage. The host then introduced, "Please welcome Mr. Charlotte Doyle, the founder of the Heart-to-Heart Charity Foundation, to the stage to speak."

Stepping onto the stage, Charlotte looked at the numerous media representatives and people from all walks of life below, as well as a group of young students sitting quietly on small stools, and began to speak:

"Every day, people on stage or on TV programs say that we must grasp the future and pass it on. But what exactly is the future?"

Charlotte looked down at the children sitting below and said, "In my eyes, children are the future. They are the inheritors. Only by giving them warmth and imparting knowledge to them can the future be infinitely bright."

"Perhaps in the future, some of them will become teachers, lawyers, doctors, athletes, or even presidents; it's not impossible."

"I hereby announce that the Heart-to-Heart Charity Foundation will allocate US Dollar 100 million annually specifically for supporting orphans. Children who graduate from the Qidian Orphanage will be provided with interest-free student loans if they are capable of attending university, allowing them to easily pursue their studies without having to abandon their education due to tuition fees."

As Charlotte finished speaking, a huge cheer erupted from the audience. Countless people looked at Charlotte in disbelief, never expecting that this superhero would be so devoted to charity.

At this moment, a reporter spoke up, "Thank you so much, Mr. Charlotte, for your selfless dedication. Your care will be a treasure for these children for a lifetime."

"But regarding interest-free student loans, can we reach a wider range of people? You know there are still many children who can't go to university because of their families' financial situation."

"Furthermore, some individuals, even those who receive student loans, are unable to repay their loans within 20 years of graduation. Mr. Charlotte, have you considered extending the quota to this group?"

Looking at the reporter who stood up to ask the question, Charlotte smiled and replied, "There is an old Chinese saying: 'When poor, one should cultivate one's own virtue; when successful, one should benefit all under heaven.'"

"I don't have the ability or the wealth to help everyone. All I can do is give the orphans I take in a better future."

"I opened my first Orphanage here because the people here need help the most."

"Mr. Charlotte, your Orphanage is so well-built, and the future conditions are so tempting. Won't some families deliberately abandon their own children here and entrust them to you for upbringing?"

When a reporter raised a rather sensitive topic, Charlotte clicked her tongue in surprise. This group of people was capable of doing such things, and they might even use this place as a good place to let off steam.

"The Orphanage has strict screening standards for accepting children. If an abandoned baby is found at the gate, we will immediately initiate an investigation to find the child's parents."

"If there are cases of people who are capable of raising children but intentionally abandon them, we will use legal means, as abandonment is a crime punishable by imprisonment."

"My original intention in building the Orphanage was to give hope to children who could not survive normally, not to make it a fallback for some adults."

As Charlotte finished speaking, enthusiastic applause erupted from the audience, and everyone felt Charlotte's kind heart and passion for philanthropy.
