Triskelion.
In the office of Nick Fury, director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, Phil Coulson was reporting on the mission.
"Director, these are psychological profiles and personality assessments conducted by specialists on Charlotte Doyle and Rock Lee."
"This is the Academy's report analyzing Rock Lee's strength and speed based on surveillance footage."
"This is the latest intelligence on Charlotte Doyle, along with footage recorded by a miniature camera during our last conversation."
"These are authenticity projections for the information Rock Lee provided, based on video analysis by psychological experts, behavioral experts, polygraph experts, and other analysts."
Coulson laid the documents in his hands on Nick Fury's desk one by one.
Nick Fury picked up one of the files and began reading it, while ordering, "Coulson, give me your own analysis."
"Director, based on my contact with them and the intelligence obtained from Rock Lee, I do not recommend forcibly taking him away."
"According to the information they revealed and my analysis, this child named Rock Lee is not the ordinary Asian boy with no background whom we previously assumed had been adopted."
"He was very likely trained by an organized group with an established lineage."
As he spoke, Coulson pulled several photographs from the file. They showed not only Rock Lee, but also Umino Iruka and Sasuke Uchiha.
Coulson pointed at the Headband around Rock Lee's waist and the Headbands on Umino Iruka and Sasuke Uchiha's foreheads. "We have not found any specific information on this symbol, but all three wear the same mark."
"All three are Asian as well. I boldly speculate that they came from the same place."
"As for why they followed Charlotte Doyle and made him their guardian, we do not know."
Hearing Coulson's analysis, Nick Fury nodded repeatedly. He then took out Charlotte Doyle's file and began reading it carefully.
From being adopted, to becoming a registered assassin of The Continental Hotel, to killing his adoptive parents at eighteen and beginning to make his way alone through The Continental Hotel.
According to the information, Umino Iruka appeared by Charlotte Doyle's side when he was nineteen. At twenty, Sasuke Uchiha and Ginny of the Brotherhood of Assassins also appeared beside him. At twenty-one, the young Rock Lee appeared.
Aside from Ginny, the identity information for the other three had all been registered for them by Charlotte at The Continental Hotel.
After carefully reviewing Charlotte Doyle's information, Nick Fury said, "Two years ago, Charlotte was still an assassin who used firearms. After this Asian man named Umino Iruka appeared, he quickly made a name for himself in the assassin world."
"He even became a Shinobi who used cold weapons."
"Humph!"
Nick Fury snorted coldly. "Yakuza, a pack of underground rats. Instead of staying in Japan, some of them have secretly come over again."
"No wonder they wiped out the Brotherhood of Assassins. Their feud has really lasted long enough."
Clearly, Nick Fury had mistaken Charlotte and the others for members of Yakuza. After all, across the world, the only people who called themselves Shinobi and were exceptionally skilled were that bunch.
Combined with Rock Lee and the others' training background, he was even more convinced that they had been trained by Yakuza. He just did not know under which of the Five Fingers they served.
"Coulson, do not make contact with these people. Yakuza has no recruitment value."
"Archive all these files. Handle them at Level 4 confidentiality."
Hearing the Director's decision, Coulson stepped forward and collected all the documents. Then he asked, "Should we withdraw the personnel keeping watch?"
"Withdraw them. Our elites should not waste their time there."
The Continental Hotel.
Charlotte sat in the Dining Area with a smile on his face, eating steak with Ginny.
Meanwhile, Winston sat on the sofa next door, reading the newspaper.
Ginny speared a small piece of beef with her fork and placed it in her mouth, chewing slowly as she watched the man across from her.
After swallowing her food, Ginny picked up a napkin and gently wiped her red lips. Then she said, "Charlotte, you seem to be in a good mood!"
Hearing Ginny's words, Charlotte thought to himself, Today really is a good day. I signed in and got fifty Gold Coins during the day, and there's a good show coming up later. Of course I'm in a good mood.
Charlotte smiled. "Today is a good day. An interesting day, too."
Before Ginny could respond, Charlotte turned to Winston next door and said, "Winston, today will be an interesting day. It will change some things that have remained unchanged for far too long!"
"Don't you think so, Winston?"
Winston shook out his newspaper and slowly replied, "Mr. Charlotte, I hope everything goes as you wish."
Ginny glared at Charlotte, blaming him for speaking in riddles again.
Seeing Ginny's expression, Charlotte laughed. "Ginny, don't be impatient. There'll be a good show soon enough."
After explaining it to Ginny, Charlotte began working on the steak on the table and stopped talking.
Ginny lifted her wineglass and took a small sip, then watched the man who fascinated her.
This man always had so many secrets and often spoke in riddles, making him impossible to fathom.
His strength was even more like a black hole. Whenever you thought you understood everything about him, you would discover that you had only seen the tip of the iceberg.
Thinking of this, Ginny could not help squeezing her legs together...
About an hour later.
A voice came from upstairs. "Winston."
A somewhat disheveled figure appeared before them. Winston, seated on the sofa, looked up at the man upstairs and said, "Mr. Antonio!"
Winston said with a trace of mockery, "It looks like you had quite an exciting night!"
He glanced at Charlotte Doyle next door, then said to the approaching man, "I'm guessing you're here to lie low."
Ginny noticed Winston's glance and silently mouthed to Charlotte, "Is this the entertainment you meant?"
Charlotte said nothing, merely nodding quietly.
Santino Antonio walked up to Winston with his hands in his pockets and said, "I want his membership at the hotel revoked!"
"Immediately. Right now!"
Winston looked at the anxious Santino and calmly replied, "By the rules, Mr. Wick has not violated any regulations."
Seeing that Winston intended to refuse, Santino Antonio immediately snapped, "But you need to understand that I am now a member of the High Table. I have the authority to order you..."
