Background / History

Fury directed S.H.I.E.L.D.'s response to the emergence of ninja and other superhuman forces. Following Agent Barbara Morse's death, he prepared Barton and Natasha for retaliation, then began treating intelligence on Charlotte Doyle and the ninja world as a priority security matter 148 151 155.
