A Price They Couldn't Agree On
Thinking about the fusion of multiple Itachi Uchiha in the future, Charlotte knew that Itachi's future strength would become extremely terrifying. Without the interference of the Kekkei Genkai Disease, his eyes would not have his vision reduced by using the Mangekyo, and his physical attributes and Chakra reserves would continue to improve. Such an Itachi Uchiha would be an extremely powerful fighting force.
Even the Complete Body Susanoo, which wasn't shown in the original work, can be developed here.
With Charlotte's successful recruitment, a massive amount of 15 Chakra appeared in Charlotte's body the next moment, and her aura was also strengthened.
To experience her own Mangekyo, Charlotte exited the System Space, went to the Living Mirror in the bathroom, and activated her Sharingan.
Three-Tomoe appeared in Charlotte's eye Sharingan. The next second, the three Tomoe spun around and finally connected to form a windmill shape, the Mangekyō Sharingan.
As Charlotte awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan, she looked at her eyes in the Living Mirror and murmured, "So this is the Mangekyō Sharingan!"
Feeling the unique power of the Mangekyō Sharingan within her eyes, Charlotte felt much more at ease after carefully examining it. She knew that using the Mangekyō Sharingan would not cause a decline in her eyesight, and she could use Mangekyou Mangekyo skills freely, just Obito.
After all, he is no longer just a beginner-level Sage Body; he has gathered all five bloodlines, so the Mangekyo is not a burden for him.
After glancing at her Mangekyo, Charlotte's consciousness returned to the System Space. She opened the ninja section and looked at the Sound Five, Tenten, and Itachi Uchiha— seven ninjas in total. Charlotte began to consider how to arrange these people.
Itachi Uchiha can fuse with Anbu Itachi Uchiha without taking up a battle slot. The other six ninjas, however, require six battle slots. The system has currently awarded three slots, so three more need to be created.
Charlotte opened the Deployment Slot and, noticing the plus sign next to the empty slot, clicked on it.
Ding! Do you wish to spend 22,000 Gold Coin to unlock a Deployment Slot?
Without hesitation, Charlotte clicked on it, and then clicked it twice more, spending 24,000 and 26,000 Gold Coin Gold Coin.
The three battle slots cost Charlotte 72,000 Gold Coin, and her own Gold Coin count dropped below 100,000.
Looking at the six empty Deployment Slot in front of her, Charlotte focused her gaze on the Sound Five, and then placed all five of their Ninja Card into the battle slots.
This time, Charlotte did not randomly send out Sound Five, but instead materialized them around her, indicating that she had other plans in mind.
As the Sound Five awoke before him, he knelt on one knee and said, "Lord Charlotte!"
Charlotte took out five tablets containing a lot of information, all compiled by Ginny, which was used to educate the ninjas who came each time.
"You should first learn about the knowledge inside and understand this world."
"Yes, Lord Charlotte."
Charlotte had just finished giving instructions to the five people and hadn't had time to make any other arrangements when the landline in the room suddenly rang.
He picked up the phone, but it was Ginny's voice. "Boss, Coulson is here to visit and wants to see you."
Upon hearing that the visitor was Coulson, Charlotte quickly realized what was going on.
"Take him to the Reception Area, I'll be there shortly."
Looking at the five people who appeared before her, Charlotte thought for a moment and then sent them all into the Summoning Realm to await her instructions.
After sending away the Sound Five, Charlotte placed the Naruto Shippuden Tenten Ninja Card in the battle position. The next second, Tenten, now Chunin, appeared in front of Charlotte.
As before, Charlotte gave Tenten a learning tablet, and then had Red Queen summon Neji, who then took Tenten out.
Tenten, who had just arrived in this world, listened blankly to Charlotte's arrangements. However, when she saw Neji, she was surprised to find that Neji looked exactly the same as he did a few years ago.
After finishing these tasks, Charlotte went to the Reception Area and walked over to Coulson, who was sitting on the sofa waiting.
"Long time no see, Coulson!"
Upon hearing Charlotte's voice, Coulson stood up and greeted her, "Long time no see, Mr. Charlotte!"
Charlotte shook hands with Coulson and then sat down on the sofa.
"You've come so early, is there something you need?"
Coulson didn't waste time on pleasantries. Instead, he took a file folder from his briefcase containing Hidan's photo and some information, and placed it in front of Charlotte.
Charlotte didn't stand on ceremony when she saw what Coulson had taken out. She picked it up and opened it to take a look. As expected, it was about Hidan.
"Hidan, missing-nin from Yugakure, attacked Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., causing nearly two hundred casualties. We hope you can capture him and hand him over to us."
"As for the price of the task, we can discuss it."
Charlotte put down the file folder she was holding, then looked at Coulson and said, "You can't afford the price."
Coulson, not expecting Charlotte to say so directly that he couldn't afford the price, immediately retorted, "Mr. Charlotte, he's just a missing-nin from a small village."
"How about three hundred or five hundred Energy Block, plus one hundred million US dollars!"
"S.H.I.E.L.D.. is very sincere about this price."
Hearing Coulson's words, Charlotte laughed and said, "Just because someone is a ninja from a small village doesn't mean they're weak."
"I'll give you some extra information: this Hidan is an S-rank missing-nin."
Upon hearing Charlotte's words, Coulson asked in confusion, "S-rank?"
"Yes, S-rank missing-nin. Every S-rank missing-nin possesses the strength of Kage Level ninja."
Upon hearing that it was Kage Level ninja, Coulson's heart sank. Even someone as powerful as Rock Lee was only Genin, and Charlotte was merely a Jonin. What was he to do?
"This isn't some price that can be paid for with just $100 million plus some Energy Block; it would require at least a treasure like the Tesseract."
Upon hearing Charlotte mention the Tesseract, Coulson knew that the mission was hopeless; S.H.I.E.L.D.. would never trade the Tesseract for a missing-nin Hidan Tesseract.
Charlotte wasn't afraid of S.H.I.E.L.D.. agreeing. If they were really willing to trade the Hidan for Tesseract, she would trade with him. She would tie Hidan up and exchange him for the Tesseract. Once the deal was done, she would remove Hidan from the Deployment Slot, recall him, and then randomly reappear him.
Once someone goes missing, they stop caring about Charlotte, but it seems S.H.I.E.L.D.. is reluctant to replace her.
