S-Rank Mission Request
At this moment, Thor spoke up, "Father, give me an army, and I will surely pacify Jotunheim."
Clearly, after his provocation in Jotunheim, Thor knew that he couldn't possibly defeat the entire city of Jotunheim on his own; they were too numerous. Although the Frost Giant King was no longer there, the Mountain Giant King was still present.
Odin glanced down at his son standing below. Although there were still many things he was dissatisfied with, he was no longer like before, taking a few Asgard warriors to cause trouble for the Frost Giant. He had grown somewhat, which made Odin quite gratified.
"The Bifrost is currently broken, and I cannot send an army directly to Jotunheim."
"You now have two choices. One is that I will use dark matter energy to send the two of you to Jotunheim to scout out the situation there, while I will also send an army led by the Warriors Three and Sif to support you in a spaceship."
"The other is to travel with the military in a spaceship to Jotunheim to quell the war."
After Odin finished speaking, Thor did not speak, but looked at Charlotte Doyle beside him.
"Charlotte, what do you think we should do? Should we set off with the main group, or go ahead first?"
Odin above also looked at Charlotte, wondering what choice the Prime Merlinian would make.
Seeing everyone looking at her, Charlotte was somewhat curious. It seemed that apart from Loki, no one else knew about the passage to Jotunheim. Otherwise, they wouldn't need any spaceships; they could just use the passage to send an army to invade.
Remembering what the Ancient One had told him before—to establish the name of Prime Merlinian so that powerful beings throughout the universe would not underestimate him and to avoid further trouble—he considered the trump cards he currently possessed.
Charlotte said, "Thor and I will set off first to check the situation in Jotunheim. With our combined strength, we should be able to hold out until the main army arrives."
Charlotte knew, however, that Thor was still quite powerful in Thor 1, and that if the Warriors Three hadn't been injured, Thor could have fought much longer.
At the same time, Charlotte wasn't worried about encountering any accidents. Even if something did happen, besides the Random Full-Star A-Rank Ninja Trial Card he could use, he could also directly return to the Summoning Realm to hide, so there wasn't much of a safety issue. Moreover, with the blessing of his Undying Body, he wasn't someone who could be easily defeated.
Upon hearing his choice, Thor excitedly patted Charlotte on the shoulder. Although he hadn't chosen it directly, Thor was still quite pleased with the option to charge straight in. With Mjolnir around, Thor wasn't worried about being surrounded.
"Okay, I'll do as you say!"
"We'll set off first, and then Sif will bring the army to support us."
Odin looked at Thor, who was getting excited, with a hint of helplessness. It was the same old story. Then, a divine light seemed to flash in his eyes as he looked at Charlotte.
This surprised Odin. In just one month, Prime Merlinian had grown so rapidly. In such a short time, the energy within his body had increased so much, almost doubling. His physical body also looked much stronger, as if he had undergone a transformation.
In contrast Thor hasn't even awakened his Thor bloodline yet, and still relies on his Hammer to generate electricity. Odin is quite disappointed in him, as his strength is worlds apart from Hela's. How can he possibly change the fate of Ragnarok?
However, Odin was much more at ease knowing that Charlotte's strength had increased so much, and that the two of them were now going ahead to scout the area.
"In that case, the two of you will go to Jotunheim first."
Just as Odin was about to use dark Cosmic Energy to teleport the two of them there, Charlotte took out a pre-written Mission Scroll from her Storage Space.
"Odin, please confirm the mission request."
Odin was taken aback by Charlotte's actions. Did she really need to sign something to confirm a promise she had made?
However, after only a moment of surprise, Odin chuckled and then waved his hand, sending the Mission Scroll from Charlotte's hand flying directly over.
After receiving it, Odin examined it. There were no magical fluctuations, no hidden contract traps, and the contents were very simple: help Thor quell the rebellion in Jotunheim, and the reward would be any item from Odin's Vault.
After confirming there were no problems Odin casually branded his divine name, Odin Bor, onto the Mission Scroll and returned it to Charlotte.
Looking at the Mission Scroll in her hand, Charlotte smiled and submitted it directly to the Task Gathering Hall while storing it in her Storage Space.
Ding! After assessment by the Task Gathering Hall, you have been awarded an S-rank mission!
Hearing about the S-rank mission made Charlotte even happier; she could have it both ways.
Not only did they receive Odin's reward, but they also received an S-rank mission reward at the Task Gathering Hall.
Despite completing missions for so long, Charlotte has never submitted S-rank mission, and even A-rank missions are extremely rare.
After seeing Charlotte put away the Mission Scroll, Odin spoke again, "Is there anything else? If not, I'll send you on your way."
Charlotte smiled and said, "Thank you for your help Odin."
Thor swung his Hammer and said, "Father, I'm always ready."
Seeing that the two were ready, Odin nodded, then used dark matter energy to teleport them directly to Jotunheim.
After teleporting the two away, Queen Frigga emerged from behind.
"Would it be dangerous for Thor to go straight there like that? The Mountain Giant King's strength..."
Seeing his somewhat worried wife, Odin smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'll have Heimdall keep an eye on them."
"Furthermore, Thor's full potential has never been realized. Perhaps this suppression of the rebellion will not only enhance his prestige in your Nine Realms, but also awaken his Power of Thor."
"After all, he holds the power of Thor, yet he has always relied on Mjolnir to unleash the power of lightning. This is simply outrageous."
Hearing that Odin had arranged everything, Frigga nodded in relief. Then, as if remembering something, she asked, "Can Heimdall really not see any trace of Loki?"
Hearing his wife's words, Odin sighed. As his adopted son, it would be a lie to say that he had no feelings for him after 1,500 years. He just didn't expect Loki to choose to take his own life and fall into the Void.
