Intelligence Gathering
Thor nodded, acknowledging Charlotte's words, but still said, "Although I haven't fully recovered, it doesn't affect my fighting ability."
Hearing Thor say this, Charlotte; it was best not to affect their combat strength.
"However, we also need to gather some information about the current status of the Frost Giant and Mountain Giant."
Charlotte then formed hand Hand Seals.
"Wood Release: Wood Clone Technique!"
The next moment, a wooden statue extended from Charlotte's body, and after landing, it transformed into a clone that looked exactly like Charlotte.
However, Wood Release Clone are extremely resilient, unlike Shadow Clone which turn into smoke when attacked, and they possess even greater strength than Shadow Clone.
"I'm counting on you for the intelligence issue!"
"Leave it to me, Your Majesty!"
Following Charlotte's instructions, the Wood Release Clone left the underground cavern to gather intelligence, primarily focusing on determining the enemy's troop location, the number of commander-level experts, and information about their leader.
Watching Charlotte's actions, Thor remarked, "Your ability is really convenient."
"Loki can also create illusionary clones, but unfortunately, his clones' main ability is deception, and they don't have much offensive or operational capability."
"It's a pity I'll never see my younger brother again."
When Charlotte heard Thor mention Loki's clones, Charlotte already knew something about them. Loki's clones were similar to the basic ninja Clone Technique; they were illusions without any actual offensive capabilities.
As for Loki's fate, Charlotte didn't tell Thor. After all, there was no point in telling Thor; at most, Loki and Thor would meet again in half a year and begin the Battle of New York.
"Let's rest here for now and wait for my Wood Clone to bring back intelligence information."
"Hopefully, the Mountain Giant and Frost Giant won't concentrate all their forces together, which will give us the opportunity to defeat them one by one."
Thor nodded and began to continue restoring his divine power, while Charlotte refined her Chakra.
······
Osaka Japan.
After using the Body Flicker Technique to leave, Pakura arrived at the Osaka National Library Osaka, and began her study journey there.
As soon as she appeared in front of the camera, she was immediately captured on camera by S.H.I.E.L.D.. personnel.
Inside the temporary base, an agent, upon receiving the information, immediately ran to Lance Hunter's office.
"Sir, the target has reappeared."
"Where?"
Osaka National Library.
Upon hearing this news, Lance Hunter frowned slightly, pondering why this Sunagakure ninja had appeared in the bookstore twice in a row.
What was it about the bookstores that attracted her? Could it be that these bookstores held something she didn't know about?
Or perhaps he was looking up some information. You can't possibly learn about the world through books, can you? They're not aliens who don't know anything about Earth.
"Let's go and meet this ninja from Sunagakure."
"Yes, sir!"
Lance Hunter, leading a team of S.H.I.E.L.D.. agents, headed towards the Osaka National Library.
At that moment, inside the Osaka Library, Pakura was flipping through a book titled "The Times World History" (atlas) by [British] Overy.
She was quite curious about everything here; the people here were so physically fragile, yet they possessed abundant resources.
Just as Pakura was flipping through the pages of world history, Lance Hunter led a team of agents to the library entrance.
After getting out of the car, Lance Hunter did not bring any other agents with him, but walked into the library alone, heading towards where Pakura was.
Approaching Pakura, Lance Hunter watched as the other rapidly browsed the contents of a book, his speed at which it was almost unbelievable, as if he were searching for something.
Lance Hunter glanced at it and saw that it was the book "The Times World History (Atlas)" by [British] Overy., so he quietly memorized the title before speaking, "Hello, lady ninja from Sunagakure."
"I am an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.., and Lance Hunter is specifically assigned to liaise with you."
Pakura had already sensed Lance Hunter's arrival, but she didn't care and continued reading her book. However, when he mentioned the Sunagakure, Pakura's gaze shifted from her book to the man in front of her.
"You actually knew I was a ninja from Sunagakure?"
Lance Hunter nodded, then looked at the Headband on Pakura's head and said, "We at S.H.I.E.L.D.. have a cooperative relationship with the Sunagakure Puppet Shop, and we know that this Headband represents the Sunagakure ninja."
Upon hearing about the Sunagakure Puppet Shop, Pakura seemed to be deep in thought. This was the place that Lord Charlotte had asked him to go to; he hadn't expected these people to know about it.
A cooperative relationship? Is it a task assignment?
"What's the matter?"
Lance Hunter asked earnestly, "May I ask your name?"
"Pakura!"
"Ms. Pakura, we don't know what business you're here to handle this time, S.H.I.E.L.D.. is very willing to lend a hand."
Instead of answering directly, Pakura asked, "What do you want from me?"
"S.H.I.E.L.D.. and the Sunagakure Puppet Shop have a cooperative relationship. I simply hope to gain your favor so that we can cooperate in the future."
"Just consider it making friends."
Lance Hunter didn't directly state what he needed to gain, but instead downplayed the issue by saying it was for future cooperation and to make friends.
Upon hearing this, Pakura smiled slightly, but inwardly he was unconvinced.
"I need to go to the Sunagakure Puppet Shop in Brooklyn, New York. Can you give me a ride there?"
"I don't have your identification documents, so it seems I can't buy a ticket directly."
Seeing that someone had come to her door and claimed to have a partnership with Sunagakure, Pakura didn't stand on ceremony and simply asked the other party to take her there.
Lance Hunter, hearing how simple the request was, readily agreed, "No problem, ma'am. We can arrange a plane to take you directly there."
"It just so happens that I also need to go back to headquarters in New York. It seems we're on the same route."
Pakura smiled, closed the book in his hand, and then said, "Let's set off then."
"Good!"
The two reached a consensus after a brief exchange.
Lance Hunter and Pakura left the library and drove directly towards the airport. As for the temporary base, he had no intention of taking Pakura with him.
