Nick Under Mind Control

At this moment, Nick was grabbed by several rotting corpses and pinned to a stone platform.

Nick was terrified when he saw the four rotting corpses clinging to his limbs.

Just as Nick was still in shock, Ahmanet suddenly jumped and landed directly on top of Nick.

Ahmanet reached out and placed her palm on Nick's face, then turned his head to the left and then to the right, checking him from both sides. After that, she opened Nick's mouth and checked his teeth and eyes.

After confirming that Nick's face was alright, Ahmanet pulled up Nick's shirt, checked his ribs, and pressed her head against Nick's abdomen as if listening to something.

Seeing the other person's strange behavior, Nick was also a little confused, wondering what was going on.

However, Itachi Uchiha and Hidan also witnessed this scene through the church windows. Itachi Uchiha's expression was blank, and it was unclear what he was thinking.

Just then, Ahmanet finished chanting the incantation, Teuchi a white angel statue in front of the stone platform. The statue's head broke off, and Ahmanet pulled out the Dagger of Set from inside.

Nick saw the dagger in the other person's hand and shouted, "No... no..."

Anmanai raised the dagger high with both hands, shouting, "Death God is with me!"

Hidan, who Hidan hiding outside the window, looked at Itachi Uchiha and said, "That dagger should be what we're looking for."

"I'll go get it."

Itachi Uchiha stopped Hidan and said, "There are no Gem on that dagger, let's wait a bit longer."

However, Itachi Uchiha noticed that the dagger in Ahmanet's hand was different from the Dagger of Set that Jane had mentioned before; it was missing a large Gem.

At this moment, after finishing the incantation, Ahmanet reached out and stabbed Nick with the dagger, but stopped just as the dagger was about to touch Nick's skin.

Ahmanet also noticed that the Gem on the dagger was missing. This sudden turn of events enraged her, and Ahmanet examined the dagger closely.

Just then, Jane pushed open the church door, looked at the six people on the stone platform, and froze on the spot.

The image of a decaying corpse had a significant impact on her.

Nick saw the people appear and immediately shouted, "Jane, run!"

Ahmanet plunged the dagger into Nick's head, then leaped after him. Before Jane could even reach the doorway, she grabbed her, pinned her against the wall with a chokehold.

Meanwhile, Nick, who was on the stone platform, was struggling to break free from the restraints of the rotting corpse. With a sudden burst of strength, he slammed the corrosive creature that was holding his arm onto the stone platform, its head instantly turning to dust.

Nick was shocked by his own strength, wondering how he had suddenly become so powerful, but this was not the time to think about such things; he immediately began to struggle with all his might.

On the other side, Jane, who was being choked, grabbed a brass candlestick from the wall and smashed it directly at Ahmanet's head.

It produced a muffled thud, but caused no harm to the other party whatsoever.

Seeing that the woman in front of her dared to resist, Ahmanet threw her towards the church pew.

Jane was thrown by the enormous force, crashing into a bench before finally coming to a stop.

At this moment, Ahmanet walked towards Jane step by step. He grabbed Jane and was about to open his mouth to suck her life essence and blood.

In that critical moment, Nick knocked down all the rotting corpses surrounding him, grabbed the Dagger of Set from the stone platform, and plunged it directly into Ahmanet's back.

Ahmanet was ambushed and cried out in pain. She reached for the dagger on her back, but found that she couldn't reach it. She turned and swung her arm at Nick.

In the instant she turned around, Jane pulled out a dagger and stabbed Ahmanet in the abdomen from behind. Taking advantage of the moment, Nick shoved Ahmanet away with a shoulder charge.

Jane, holding the dagger, immediately shouted, "Run! Run!"

The two immediately ran out of the church.

The fight between the three was completely observed by the two people outside the window, and Hidan yawned, feeling quite bored.

"These followers of the Egypt Death God are far too weak."

"If this is the level, I feel Set might not be that great."

"Given the chance, I'd like to test the strength of Death God Set. I wonder what kind of favor I'll receive if I offer him to the Lord Jashin."

Itachi Uchiha ignored Hidan's words and instead said, "Follow them and see if they can find the Gem."

At that moment, Nick and Jane ran out of the church, Nick drove a small truck away.

Sitting in the car, Jane looked at Nick and asked, "Where are we going?"

Nick said as he drove, "Get out of here, there's a highway ahead."

Jane asked in surprise, "How did you know?"

"Of course I know."

These images, along with the surrounding scenery, had previously appeared before Nick's eyes as illusions.

Jane looked at the dagger in her hand and exclaimed, "Oh, God!"

Nick said, "This is Set's dagger. She wanted to use it to skin me alive."

Jane examined the area with the dagger, then asked in confusion, "The Gem is gone."

Nick nodded. "Yes, it seems this has made her very angry."

Nick asked, puzzled, "But how did the dagger end up in that statue?"

Jane explained, "That statue is a reliquary."

"The Crusaders have always used them to hide relics, but she clearly knows how to do it too."

Nick asked, puzzled, "What?"

"Are you saying that she was also in control of the plane crash?"

Jane said with a serious expression, "That's why she wants you to go to church."

Nick said somewhat irritably, "Did she make me go to church?"

"I told you, it was I who wanted to go to church."

"I told you, I said I wanted to see..."

I'll go and see her body.

Jane looked at Nick and said, "Look at her body?"

"Nick, she has taken control of your mind."
