Golden Rope
After reviewing the information on the Golden Rope, Charlotte glanced at her 5,650 Ninja Jade and immediately began her enhancement and upgrade journey.
Charlotte looked at the three options in front of her: enhance once, enhance ten times, and enhance one hundred times. After thinking for a moment, Charlotte clicked on enhance once.
With a successful enhancement, the experience bar below the Golden Rope changed to (5/10). Seeing this change, Charlotte pondered, "Could it be that each enhancement increases experience by 5 points?"
Then, after clicking to enhance again, a burst of light flashed on the Golden Rope, and the original level 0 became level 1, while the experience bar became (0/20).
The level has indeed increased, but the requirements for leveling up have also become higher. Charlotte then thought about it and realized that one enhancement requires 10 Ninja Jade to increase 5 experience points, and one hundred enhancements would require 500 experience points and consume 1000 Ninja Jade.
Charlotte wanted to see how many levels 1000 Ninja Jade could upgrade the Golden Rope, so she clicked to enhance it 100 times without hesitation.
A burst of light flashed across the Golden Rope. Charlotte lost 1000 Ninja Jade, while the Golden Rope was upgraded from level 1 to level 10. However, the experience bar below her health bar became (0/240).
Upon seeing the experience requirements above, Charlotte suddenly realized that she was particularly lacking in Ninja Jade.
With 4,630 Ninja Jade remaining, Charlotte used 4,000 of Ninja Jade to perform 400 upgrades and enhancements.
Ding! The Golden Rope has been upgraded to level 20, unlocking a new rune.
Once the engravings were activated, Charlotte knew that this was another way to enhance the power of the Artifact, besides the initial Artifact.
Charlotte immediately received detailed information upon clicking on the glyph.
Glyph Refinement Instructions: Every 20 levels Artifact can be upgraded, it can gain one glyph. Each Artifact can gain a maximum of three glyphs. 3000 Reincarnation Stone can be used to condense one random glyph attribute.
Looking at the description of the glyphs, Charlotte discovered that they were completely different from the attribute values of glyphs such as attack, defense, and health that she remembered. Instead, 3,000 Reincarnation Stone could be used to randomly condense a glyph for socketing.
Upon seeing this description, Charlotte glanced at the 24,710 Reincarnation Stone Reincarnation Stone had accumulated. This amount was enough to condense 8 more Reincarnation Stone, which was more than sufficient for her needs in the short term.
Charlotte immediately chose to condense a glyph. As a crimson light flashed before her, the 3,000 Reincarnation Stone flew into the air and merged into a single glyph.
Weakness (Glyph): When inlaid on the Artifact Golden Rope, the bound creature becomes Weakness and unable to resist.
After looking at the properties of this engraving, Charlotte thought for a moment and concluded that while it wasn't perfect, it was very suitable for use with the Golden Rope.
He then directly inlaid the engraving into the empty space on the Golden Rope.
Ding! Do you wish to inlay the Weakness (glyph) onto the Golden Rope? Note: (Once inlaid, the glyph cannot be removed; to change the glyph, you can only choose to overlay it.)
Upon seeing the system notification, Charlotte checked the information and then immediately inlaid the Weakness Glyph.
After settling everything, Charlotte looked at her Artifact Golden Rope, and had the idea of trying out Artifact abilities, especially since she had Thor, the Thor of Thunder, by her side.
At this point, the Golden Rope was already capable of binding some Kage Level powerhouses; it was just unknown how long it could bind Thor.
Without any hesitation, Charlotte exited the system's space, and then, with a thought, the Golden Rope appeared on her body.
Looking at the Golden Rope in her hand, Charlotte simply tied it around her waist as an ornament.
After doing all this, Charlotte found Thor and, without any ceremony, directly explained her purpose to Thor.
"Thor, you have Mjolnir, and I've also acquired my own Artifact. Let me test its power."
Thor paused for a moment, then asked, "What type of Artifact? If it's an offensive one, you can just use it on the mountain outside."
Thor wasn't stupid, though. Although he liked fighting and sparring, he didn't want to mention the power of other people's experiments with divine Artifact. Anything that could be called Artifact was no simple thing.
Charlotte chuckled, "It's a control-type support Artifact, not an attack-type one, otherwise I wouldn't have asked you to test it."
Hearing Charlotte say that, Thor nodded. "Since it's a control-type auxiliary Artifact, I can help you test it out."
"But what ability of the Artifact do you want to test?"
Charlotte patted the Golden Rope around her waist and said, "The ability to bind and restrain."
"Let's go to the open space outside."
Seeing that Thor had agreed, Charlotte was in a good mood. "Good friend, I'll treat you to drinks later, a case."
Thor's eyes lit up, and he said with a smile, "One case isn't enough, we need at least two."
Charlotte didn't haggle and agreed immediately.
"No problem, two boxes it is."
Seeing Charlotte agree so readily, a thought flashed through Thor's mind.
"Is it too little for me?"
The two then arrived outside the Royal Court, where Charlotte and Charlotte stood facing each other, about a hundred meters apart.
Thor shouted, "I'm ready, you can begin."
Upon hearing Thor's shout, Charlotte didn't stand on ceremony and immediately picked up the Golden Rope from her waist and used it.
"Golden Rope, go!"
The next second, the Golden Rope in Charlotte's hand vanished as if it had traveled through the void, instantly appearing on Thor's body. Thor was somewhat surprised to see the Golden Rope suddenly appear, but he did not choose to dodge. Instead, he gave up resisting and allowed it to bind him.
The moment Thor was bound, he couldn't help but shout, "I am Thor, the God of Thunder, for the glory of Asgard!"
In an instant, those words became a powerful message, and Charlotte came to know them.
Charlotte's power of words was instantly tested, but unfortunately, she didn't have the Seven-Star Sword to cut through the power of words or the Crimson Gourd to capture people.
Thor was instantly trapped. He didn't understand why he had suddenly shouted that sentence, but it was a catchphrase he often used, so he didn't pay much attention to it.
He then immediately began to use his strength to break free from the bindings of the Golden Rope.
"Drink! Open!"
Thor yelled and began to strain his arms to break free of the Golden Rope, but this only made the ropes tighten around him.
Because he was bound, Thor couldn't reach out to pull on the ropes binding him and was unable to break free for a while.
At the same time, Thor felt himself becoming Weakness, and his strength began to wane.
Three seconds passed, and Thor still hadn't broken Golden Rope; his expression turned grim.
