The Ninja Who Was Teleported

Ward had a hostage in his grip, but he wasn't the least bit flustered. He even found time to say to May, "You should've brought two guns."

The two sides fell into a standoff, and Ward contacted Coulson inside the Temple.

"Coulson?"

Coulson picked up the radio. "Go ahead."

"We've got a situation out here."

Skye, who was beside him, said, "There are a lot of rebels in this area."

But Coulson said outright, "Rebels wouldn't be this quiet."

Then he said to Fitz and Simmons, "You two keep going. I'll be right there."

Coulson walked out of the Temple. Seeing everyone facing off at the entrance, he said, "Good morning. I'm agent Coulson."

"We're here because of an incident involving international security."

At that moment, the other side's commander stepped out. She was a woman in military uniform wearing sunglasses. She walked up to Coulson and cried out in surprise, "Philip?"

Coulson also recognized the person in front of him and called out her name. "Camila?"

Then he gestured at the armed soldiers. "Could you have them lower their weapons?"

Camila shrugged. "You first."

Coulson nodded, and Ward and May, receiving the signal, released the hostages in their hands and put away their guns.

Seeing the movement on Coulson's side, Camila also announced, "Weapons down. Stand down."

As the soldiers all lowered their weapons, Camila quickly walked up to Coulson, took off her sunglasses, and said with a smile, "Now we can greet each other properly."

After saying that, she gave Coulson a kiss on both cheeks.

Coulson looked at her and smiled. "Promoted to commander. Congratulations!"

Camila smiled. "That was three years ago, but thank you anyway."

Coulson then introduced his subordinates. "Agent Melinda May. Agent Grant Ward."
