Barton shook his head. "That guy is too laid-back. He does things kind of on a whim, and he's a little cowardly."

"He has no interest in joining S.H.I.E.L.D., but he knows the company he works for is part of Charlotte Doyle's business."

"However, he has taken action before against gang members under the High Table and Assassins from The Continental Hotel."

"For now, we can't fully determine whether he has actually joined Charlotte Doyle's command."

After hearing Barton's report, Nick Fury nodded, then said, "Put Eddie's matter aside for now. I have a new mission for you."

"In an Inca Temple in Peru, a Teleportation Array suspected of connecting the Ninja World to Earth was discovered, and a Kumogakure Ninja was teleported in on the spot."

"It's Kumogakure, one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages that hadn't appeared before, but the one who arrived was only a young Ninja."

"Hill has already sent more than a hundred Agents to seal off the site. What you need to do is go guard it, prevent enemies from destroying it, and wait to see whether any new Kumogakure Ninjas appear."

"You have experience dealing with Ninjas. If a new Ninja World appears there, or if our people are teleported over, you need to be prepared to communicate and handle the situation."

Hearing the mission Nick Fury had assigned him, Barton nodded.

"Yes, sir!"

"The situation is urgent. Take a plane and set off immediately."
