Kingpin's Commission

Just as Charlotte Doyle finished finishing her food, there was a knock on the door.

Charlotte stepped forward, opened the Room Door, looked at Ginny in front of her, and asked, "Is there something you need?"

Ginny walked into the room, excitedly saying, "Boss, your investment is going to make a profit, and a huge one at that!"

"Tony Stark just held a press conference announcing the imminent closure of Stark Industries's weapons manufacturing division."

"Following his announcement, Stark Industries ' stock plummeted. Boss, you're going to make a killing this time."

"However, when should we close our short positions to take profits?"

Listening to Ginny's question, Charlotte also carefully recalled the plot of the movie, and seemed to remember that it dropped by about 41 or 45 points.

Watching Ginny leave, Iruka said regretfully from the side, "I'm so sorry, Lord Charlotte, I interrupted your good time."

Iruka nodded and then said, "Lord Charlotte, two guests have arrived outside. One is the King of Bowery, and the other is Kingpin. They are both here to see you."

He then said, "Iruka, take me to see them now."

Upon entering the Agency lobby, Charlotte looked at the two people sitting on the sofa and greeted them with a smile, "Hi, my friends, welcome."

Seeing that Charlotte was in a good mood, the two of them greeted her with smiles.

Charlotte then instructed, "Iruka, take Mr. Kingpin to the Reception Room first. I need to speak with this King of Bowery."

Iruka approached Kingpin and said, "Please come with me, Mr. Kingpin."

Kingpin and agreed, then went to the Reception Room with Iruka.

Seeing Kingpin leave, leaving only Charlotte present, the King of Bowery knelt on one knee and said, "Elder Charlotte, I have completed your orders. Here is the data you requested."

The King of Bowery then took a hard drive from his chest pocket, held it in his hand, and indicated that all the data was inside.

Charlotte walked up to the King of Bowery, picked up the portable hard drive, and slowly said, "I've seen your sincerity. Bowery is still yours."

The King of Bowery knelt on one knee, placing his right hand in front of his chest, and swore, "I will forever be loyal to the High Table and Elder Charlotte, to the death."

Charlotte and said, "Alright, I accept your loyalty. You can go back now. If there's anything that needs your attention, the Adjudicator will contact you."

Upon hearing Charlotte's words, the King of Bowery stood up from the ground, turned around, and took his leave.

Upon opening the door to the Reception Room, Charlotte was not greeted by Kingpin, but rather by the fine wines laid out on Reception Room table: The Balvenie 50 Year Old Single Malt Whisky.

Charlotte had assumed Kingpin would send Bullseye, but he brought it himself today.

Kingpin entered the Reception Room and instructed Charlotte Iruka, "Go and fetch a blank Mission Scroll. I imagine Mr. Kingpin has a mission to undertake today."

"Yes, Lord Charlotte." Iruka got up and left to prepare the Mission Request Scroll.

Charlotte sat down on the sofa and asked, "So, Kingpin, have you finalized your decision?"

Kingpin hesitated for a moment, then said, "Charlotte, what price would I have to pay if I wanted to wipe out the entire the Hand in New York and kill Madame Gao?"

Charlotte wasn't surprised to hear about Kingpin's request. He knew that Kingpin and Madame Gao would eventually break up, but he didn't expect it to happen so quickly. Perhaps it was because of his token that the other party had the confidence to turn against him.

Charlotte didn't answer directly, but instead asked, "You must have heard something about the Hand's amazing abilities."

"An organization that was established in the 16th century and has never changed its leader—you can probably tell how deep the waters run without me saying it."

"What price do you think would be appropriate to cut off one of your Five Fingers?"

After listening to Charlotte Doyle's words, Kingpin began to ponder. He was very familiar with the terror of the Hand, and he had also heard the rumors that the Five Fingers of the Hand immortal. Although he could not verify them, there must be a reason for such rumors.
