It turned out that the True Fragrance Law possessed universal applicability at any time and in any world. Its workings were practically equivalent to the Essence of the World, the will of the greater universe. No living being could escape its constraints.
The gods were no exception.
The film shoot, which had lasted for quite a while—nearly half a year—had ended, causing an enormous stir among the customers. Just as everyone had been looking forward to finally seeing the film in its entirety, another piece of news spread—the filming was merely complete, and much other work still needed to be done.
Well, that was a sad story.
The customers' moods were like a roller coaster. They had just reached the peak, only to have a basin of cold water dumped over their heads in the next instant. Of course, more customers simply did not care much. At most, they grumbled about Luo Chuan in private while expressing their anticipation on the Magic Phone.
Luo Chuan did not care much about it. His days were busy and fulfilling, as regular as his senior year of high school. They could roughly be summarized as eating breakfast after getting up, opening Origin Mall for business, spending half the morning writing novels and the other half reading them, taking a brief nap after lunch, devoting the entire afternoon to making the card game—mainly designing specific cards—and editing the film at night.
Even Luo Chuan did not know how he had managed to keep it up.
"Finally finished—"
Luo Chuan heavily sank back against the sofa and let out a deep breath. Before him, several light screens floated silently in midair. The various images displayed upon them had all frozen in place, clearly scenes from the film, much like pressing pause while watching a movie.
