Only after quite a while did she snap back to her senses and look toward Qing Yuan and the others. The three of them were chatting and laughing, and had somehow produced a deck of cards. They seemed to be preparing to play Dou Dizhu, which meant they probably knew about this too.
"Where did the boss go?" Bu Lige felt as though she were the only one being kept in the dark.
"I don't know." Yao Ziyue shook her head.
"Do you not know, or can't you say?" Bu Lige was very meticulous and pressed on.
Yao Ziyue could not help rolling her eyes. "Not knowing means not knowing. Do I have nothing better to do than lie to you?"
"Then what did they go to do?" Still unwilling to give up, Bu Lige asked another question.
"I don't know that either." Yao Ziyue yawned. "Stop asking. I don't know anything. My sister just called me over to help watch the store; she didn't tell me anything else. I even have the chat history on my Magic Phone. Want to see it?"
With Yao Ziyue having said that much, Bu Lige could not very well keep asking. She could only smile awkwardly.
