Somewhere in a dim space.
Marsh-like clouds gathered and churned, completely blotting out the heavens. They resembled some slowly writhing mollusk, gleaming with a nauseatingly murky hue.
The ground was likewise stained with an eerie layer of black, dotted with countless pale specks like remnants of snow.

Before the Undead Dragon stood a pass that seemed to connect heaven and earth, stretching like a mountain range to the horizon.
The entire pass was forged from jet-black stone, exuding darkness as deep as ink. Looking closely, one could faintly see some peculiar radiance flowing within it.
A gate was set into the pass, its height impossible to gauge, and at this moment, it stood open by a crack.
Compared to the size of the entire gate, it was almost negligible, yet more than enough for someone to pass through.
