Even Grandfather Nurgle and the Lord of Pleasure grew vaguely wary. They sensed the shift in the situation and began considering what to do next.

Ron frowned slightly when he noticed this.
He and the other four Warp Dark Gods all knew that a new divine war could erupt between them at any moment. This war over the Blood Soil might turn into a bloody struggle of mutual annihilation.
If that happened, not only the Blood God, but Ron and the other gods would all have to pay a greater price.
If he got ganged up on, things would probably be even more disastrous. He might very well end up joining the Blood God at the same table.
Ron had every reason to believe that the Blood God and the other gods were frantically forming private groups to discuss alliances.
Even the Lord of Pleasure had sent him a message, expressing a willingness to stand on the side of him, the Lord of Hell.
But Ron did not really believe it.
The Lord of Pleasure was most likely betting on both sides. Once it discovered that Ron's side was at a disadvantage, it would most likely stab him in the back and join the other gods in plundering him, just as they had plundered the Blood God.
