Cyclonic Torpedoes were about sixty meters long and extremely destructive to a planet's environment. They were suited for deployment in low orbit and were specialized weapons used to carry out Exterminatus.

They had different forms of attack: nuclear firestorms, proto-plasma, or seismic shocks to the planet's core.

No matter what form the attack took, the final result of a Cyclonic Torpedo was the same: burning away the atmosphere, evaporating the oceans, destroying surface structures, and wiping out all life on the planet!

Under normal circumstances, only Adeptus Astartes Chapters and the Inquisition possessed such weapons.

But this was the Dark Side, and the Third Diocese held the highest authority in the region in The Emperor's name, so it was no surprise they could obtain Cyclonic Torpedoes.
