As The Savior and the Emperor of Mankind, Ron had always regarded himself as the eldest brother among the Primarchs.
Of course, that excluded Lion and Guilliman.
For certain reasons, those two looked far too much older than him. At most, he could only treat them as brothers.
As for Dorn, when The Emperor found him, he had been quite a bit younger than Lion and Guilliman, so naturally he ranked behind them.

He had never had such a good relationship with any of the other Primarchs.
