When the Phalanx Guards saw the Father of Genes facing a mortal threat, their eyes nearly split with rage. They charged forward desperately, trying to stop Horus's attack.
But it was all in vain. They could not even break through the Chaos barrier the Dark Emperor had swept out with a casual motion.
Now no one could save the Master of the Phalanx.

Rogal Dorn was shrouded in the thick aura of death.
He struggled with all his strength, but Horus pressed down even harder, pinning him in place.
That traitor, the Dark Emperor, possessed such terrifying power that even with the power systems of the Armor of Redemption, he could not contend with him.
"Ah, what a delicious scent. I can smell your despair."
The pitch-black war boot drove into his cracked breastplate, almost crushing Dorn's chest and forcing blood to spill from his mouth.
Then Worldbreaker came crashing down, the hateful weapon growing larger and larger in his pupils.
It was a fatal strike powerful enough to smash his head apart!
On the brink of death, Dorn finally felt a trace of despair, yet he was still so unwilling.
He could not fall yet. If he did, who would protect Terra and his father's Golden Throne?!
