Battle Against Nurgle
During the Chaos invasions of Ultramar and the Stars of Calamity, the Savior’s forces destroy a Corruption Machine on Iax. Its destruction prompts Nurgle’s daemons to send additional armies. Ron leads the defense with forces including the Grey Knights and the Titan Chapter 432.
The Emperor’s Intervention
Ron and Guilliman work together to defend Iax. Above Iax Cathedral, flame and Fel Energy remain locked in a fierce stalemate. The Emperor descends upon the planet, burns away the plague miasma, and attacks the Garden of Nurgle, turning the tide of battle. His immense energy output also destroys the Prism Towers 436.
The Emperor subsequently meets Ron and Guilliman, acknowledges their efforts, and departs 436.
