A low, muffled rumble suddenly came from the ground. Huang Fugui immediately became alert and hurriedly said, "Not good! A Demon Beast is coming from underground. Be careful, Fellow Daoist Wang!"
Huang Fugui immediately cast defensive measures on himself. Besides a defensive Spiritual Art, he also had a defensive Magic Treasure.
After flames flared across Wang Mingren's body, a pale red light screen appeared around him.

Almost the instant it emerged from the ground, a Yellow Giant Hand more than ten zhang wide materialized out of thin air and slammed fiercely into the yellow beetle.
With a muffled bang, the yellow beetle was completely unharmed.

Huang Fugui shouted. A dazzling yellow light surged over his body as he flew eastward, with Wang Mingren close behind.
At a time like this, splitting up would only make their chances of dying greater. Huang Fugui's escape speed was far too fast; if they fled separately, Wang Mingren would definitely be caught by the Fourth Order demon insect.
Sure enough, the yellow beetle let out a piercing shriek, beat its wings, and transformed into a Yellow Escape Light as it pursued Wang Mingren and Huang Fugui.
Once they had flown far away, they could no longer control the Formation. The Soul Devouring Spider broke free and hurried back to its nest.
