Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan rose and walked out. They opened the courtyard gate, and Gao Shuyao and a short, portly blue-robed elder stood outside.
The blue-robed elder had a round face, small eyes, fair features, and a smile. He looked easygoing and approachable.
"I am Gao Yunhai. Greetings, Daoist Wang and Madam Wang."
The blue-robed elder cupped his fists as he spoke in a mild tone.
"Daoist Gao, I've long heard of you. Please come in."
Wang Changsheng invited Gao Yunhai and Gao Shuyao inside, and the four of them sat down in the stone pavilion.
Wang Ruyan brewed a pot of hot tea and poured each of them a cup.
"Daoist Wang, Shuyao has told me everything. Our Nine Immortals Sect can give you a territory to establish your family. Here are several territories, all in excellent locations. Pick one."
Gao Yunhai flicked his sleeve, and a blue light flew out. It was a scroll radiating fluctuating blue light. The blue scroll unfurled in midair.
It was a sea chart. Numerous islands could be seen, most of them marked with words.
"Daoist Wang, the islands marked in white have not been occupied yet. You may choose any one you like."
Gao Shuyao said with a smile.
Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan studied it for a while, their brows furrowing deeply.
"I imagine Daoist Gao knows our circumstances. We ascended from the Lower Realm and don't know much about the Sky Dawn Sea Region. I would be deeply grateful if Daoist Gao could enlighten us."
Wang Changsheng took out an exquisite Blue Jade Box and handed it to Gao Yunhai.
"It's only a small token. Please don't disdain it, Daoist Gao. We'll have many matters to trouble you with in the future."
Wang Ruyan spoke courteously.
Gao Yunhai opened
