However, most Chaos Beasts were lucky if they could undergo one mutation. Chaos Beasts capable of mutating twice were relatively rare, while those capable of mutating three times were as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns. This had no direct correlation with their rank. Their fourth evolution was frenzy, which granted Chaos Beasts a tremendous boost.
Some Chaos Beasts could undergo three mutations during the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal Stage, while others could cultivate to the Daluo Golden Immortal realm and still undergo only one mutation, or at most two. Those that mutated three times were truly rare.
