Lin Yu killed two Celestial Dragons, built his crew, and made the God Slave a feared force as he crossed the North Blue into the East Blue. After recruiting Nojiko and Makino and looting corrupt authorities, he left for the God Slave with his expanding crew.

• Lin Yu killed Saint Rosward and Saint Charlos, seized control of the Kachinobu Kingdom, recruited Anna and Charloss, and escaped aboard the God Slave with a 1.5-billion-Berry bounty.
• Lin Yu captured Reiju and Yongji, negotiated with Judge for Science Combat Suits, and recruited Reiju into his crew.
• Lin Yu tested his Wind suit, defeated the One-Eyed Wolf Pirate Crew, gave Charloss the Snow Wolf Fruit, and destroyed pirate ships while protecting North Blue vessels.
• Lin Yu fed Anna the Snow Lion Fruit and recruited Nojiko near Cocoyasi Village before attacking Mouse Lieutenant’s base and avenging Nojiko’s village.
• Lin Yu recruited Makino in Foosha Village, then raided the Goa Kingdom palace, where his crew took the treasury and killed King Sterry.
• Lin Yu gave Makino a Devil Fruit that let her summon a safe, and began teaching her swordsmanship aboard the God Slave.

Lin Yu captured new companions and Devil Fruits as he sailed through the Grand Line, took Alabasta’s Princess Vivi, and defeated Enel on Sky Island. He ended the arc with Nami and Robin in his custody, while the Straw Hat Crew prepared to rescue them and Nami bargained for their safety.

• Makino joined Lin Yu’s crew, and he gained her Box-Box Fruit ability while continuing to train his wind and swordsmanship.
• After killing the King of Goa, Lin Yu faced a Navy response as Garp set out to capture him, and Lin Yu’s crew took Kaya aboard before sailing through Reverse Mountain.
• Lin Yu defeated pirates at Whiskey Peak, recruited Reiju through her growing loyalty, and took Wapol’s Munch-Munch Fruit before heading toward Alabasta.
• Lin Yu killed Baroque Works agents, gave Nojiko the Bomb Fruit, and recruited Mikita, Sarah, and Marianne after capturing them.
• Lin Yu forced Vivi to leave Alabasta with him, and she joined his crew as its doctor after he destroyed the palace and explained his powers.
• Lin Yu took the God Slave up the Rising Current to Sky Island, where Reiju helped him defeat Enel and the God Enforcers, and the Shandia and divine attendants submitted to him.
• Lin Yu captured Robin and Nami from the Straw Hat Crew, while Reiju and the Divine Soldier Squad held off the others.
• Nojiko reunited with Nami in God's Palace and pleaded for the Straw Hats’ lives, and Nami agreed to cooperate with Lin Yu if he left Luffy and the others alone.

Lin Yu expanded his crew, took control of Sky Island, and raided the Celestial Tribute convoy, drawing the attention of the world’s major powers. He gathered Pluton’s blueprints and CP9 members at Water Seven, captured Hina, and prepared to enter the war against Whitebeard, leaving the story with a successful check-in at Enies Lobby.

• Lin Yu recruited Robin by promising to help her find Vegapunk and Sauro, then defeated and exiled Luffy’s crew after Nami, Kaya, and Vivi chose to follow him.
• Lin Yu united Angel Island’s residents and the Shandians under his rule, became their new god, and left Sky Island aboard the Ark Maxim with Nami and Conis.
• Lin Yu captured three Celestial Tribute ships at G8, killed the fleeing CP0 members, and brought Jessica aboard, while news of the raid spread among the world’s major powers.
• Lin Yu gave Kaya the Purification Fruit and gave flying Devil Fruits to Lucky and Conis, then visited Germa Kingdom and agreed to obtain Pluton’s blueprints for Gage.
• Lin Yu obtained Franky’s genuine Pluton blueprints, killed Bruno for the Door-Door Fruit, and captured Kalifa after she attacked Robin’s group.
• Lin Yu defeated Hina in their agreed contest and captured her, then defeated Lucci and Kaku and released them after Kalifa persuaded them to leave Water Seven.
• Lin Yu discussed joining the war against Whitebeard, refused Hina’s offer to make him her subordinate, and successfully checked in at Enies Lobby.

Lin Yu expanded his crew by taking Kalifa, Afelandra, Alvida, Brook, and Perona, while acquiring several Devil Fruits and claiming Thriller Bark as a base. As the Summit War approached, Sengoku agreed to conceal Moria’s death and let Lin Yu use Moria’s identity against Whitebeard.

• Lin Yu seized Spandam’s Devil Fruits and treasures, and Kalifa killed him before eating the Bubble-Bubble Fruit and pledging herself to Lin Yu.
• Lin Yu reached an agreement with Sengoku to suppress news of the Enies Lobby attack and join the campaign against Whitebeard, then arranged aid and a Sea Train plan for Alabasta with Iceburg.
• Lin Yu captured Sandersonia’s crew, erased her slave mark, and pressured Afelandra into joining his crew, raising it to Third-Level.
• Lin Yu defeated Buggy’s crew, took Alvida as his woman, and acquired the Chop-Chop Fruit after Nami killed Buggy.
• Lin Yu recruited Brook after promising to take him to Laboon, then attacked Thriller Bark and killed Absalom and Moria while taking their Devil Fruits.
• Lin Yu claimed Thriller Bark as his base, ordered its renovation, and asked Sengoku to cover up Moria’s death so he could use Moria’s identity in the war.
• Sengoku told Garp that Lin Yu had killed Moria and Buggy, while Garp left to bring Luffy back before he reached Sabaody.
• Perona resisted Lin Yu at first, but she eventually agreed to obey him after he promised Kumashi and used Negative Hollows to subdue her.
