Pure starlight gathered across the sky like a host of stars, while Primordial Vitality drifted over the ground in wisps of mist. The scene seemed almost an immortal paradise.

Azure lotuses swayed and shimmered, each growing a lotus platform.

Shen Yao, Ji Hong, and the others sat cross-legged upon those platforms, listening to Jiang Sheng expound the Dao.

Across the entire Azure Sun Grotto-Heaven, of its three thousand azure lotuses, only a scant few had bloomed—exactly one for each person.

Jiang Sheng sat cross-legged at their center, borne aloft by a Flying-Luan Gilded Jade-Inlaid Cloud Bed.

The Daoist in a blue crown and dark robe sat at ease, a smile on his face. Behind his head, the green light of his Dao Fruit waxed and waned, as though expounding the principles of the Great Dao.

"Cultivation has nine realms. Setting aside the Upper Three Realms, the Middle and Lower Six Realms are Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Purple Mansion, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and Spirit Transformation."
