Two Dragons

Feng Lan and Natsu exchanged a glance. "That was... a Dragon's Roar!?"

At those words, everyone stared wide-eyed at Feng Lan and Natsu. "A dragon!? You're saying there's a dragon in there!?"

Feng Lan nodded. "Yeah, it can't be wrong. Only a dragon could make that roar just now, and it sounds like an angry one."

Natsu's expression turned grave. "Who knows what it might know... Let's go!"

Elfman asked worriedly, "Is this really okay?"

Lisanna excitedly grabbed Feng Lan's hand. "Big Brother Feng Lan, let's go! Lisanna wants to see what a dragon looks like."

Mira said to Feng Lan with great interest, "Yeah! I really want to see one too."

The stationed officer hurriedly stopped Feng Lan and the others. "Wait! If it really is a dragon, you shouldn't go. It's too dangerous."

Natsu folded his arms and snapped, "Then why did you call us here? To play around?"

Feng Lan gave a cold laugh and said speechlessly, "Are you afraid the dragon won't have enough to eat?"

Feng Lan had run out of patience. He picked Natsu up and said, "At least stronger than the five of us kids? I am a Water Dragon Slayer Mage. He is a Fire Dragon Slayer Mage. Natsu sighed. "Fighting an Ice Dragon in the Ice Plain... that's as ridiculous as someone drinking Brother Feng Lan under the table."

Seeing how panicked the other four were, Lisanna began to feel uneasy as well. "B-Big Brother Feng Lan, how do we find the dragon? Do we just search slowly?"

Feng Lan sensed the oppressive atmosphere too and patted Lisanna's head. "Don't worry, it won't be that troublesome... Natsu, come here!"

Natsu and Feng Lan walked to the front and had Mira and the other three stop. The two exchanged a glance and nodded.

"Water (Fire) Dragon's Roar!" Red and blue Dragon's Breath shot straight into the sky, radiating immense magic power.

"Roar!" A dragon's cry rang out from deep within the mountains. It seemed that dragon had been drawn over by Feng Lan and Natsu's dragon magic power.

The creature that appeared was a silver-white giant dragon with a saber-toothed tiger-like head and a tail ending in something like a hammer.

Mira and the other three were left dumbfounded by the enormous creature before them, while Feng Lan and Natsu instead looked relieved. Its size made it clear that this was an underage dragon.

Feng Lan pushed Natsu over to Mira and the others. "Mira, Natsu, protect Lisanna and Elfman. I'll keep it occupied for a while. I'll definitely have to go all out later, and I won't be able to watch over you!"

Mira worriedly asked Natsu, "Natsu, how strong is that dragon?"

Natsu smiled. "Don't worry. It's just entered its youth. I don't think it'll be much trouble. Watch carefully. I haven't seen my brother fight seriously in a long time either."

The two Dragon's Breaths collided, and the shockwaves alone were enough to make the people nearby lose their footing.

After clashing with the Dragon's Breath for a moment, Feng Lan flashed above the Ice Dragon. "Water Dragon King's Crushing Fist!"

The Ice Dragon slapped both hands against the ground, causing dozens of ice spikes to burst from beneath the earth and shield the space above it. Feng Lan smashed the ice apart with one punch, but the Ice Dragon's tail sent him flying.

Feng Lan slid across the ice for quite a while before steadying himself. "Water Dragon King's Soul Devour!"

Feng Lan brought his hands together, forming a dark-blue black hole between them, then hurled it heavily at the Ice Dragon.

The attack was so fast that the Ice Dragon had no time to react. It was struck directly by the black hole, and the powerful suction left it unable to move. The next second, the black hole's immense pressure and magic power burst outward in the opposite direction, forming a massive Water Tornado that blasted the Ice Dragon into the clouds.

"Ice Dragon's Seal!" The Ice Dragon erupted with immense magic power, freezing Feng Lan's entire Water Tornado. Then it bit down, devouring the powerful magic power.

"Roar!" In an instant, the Ice Dragon's magic power rose to another level.

When Feng Lan saw that, his heart sank. "Right, this ice attribute counters me completely! I've been fighting for so long, and all I've done is heal it!"

Natsu could only watch anxiously from the side. Then, as if he had thought of something, he suddenly said, "Right, this will work!"

Flying in the air, the Ice Dragon condensed a massive ball of ice in its hands and hurled it at Feng Lan.

Feng Lan leaped onto the ice sphere and bit down. Sure enough, the ice transformed into Water Magic Power and flowed into Feng Lan's body. "Haha... so it's not that ice counters water. Ice and water counter each other!"

"Bang!" The Ice Dragon froze for a moment, then angrily summoned a massive block of ice and hurled it at Feng Lan. This time, Feng Lan did not move and was struck directly by the ice.

"Feng Lan!" Mira cried out worriedly from the side, but the next second, Feng Lan's voice came from beneath the ice.

"O mysterious and mighty Water Dragon King, let the downpour of power rage even fiercer! Dragon Force—Zero Release!"

At once, everyone felt an oppressive aura emanating from beneath the ice.

Sensing an immense power, the Ice Dragon could not help growing tense. It drove a heavy fist into the ice and charged straight at Feng Lan.

But the instant the ice shattered, a violent explosion erupted. When the stirred-up snowflakes cleared, the Ice Dragon was sent flying backward, leaving everyone shocked by the sight before them.

A massive Sea Blue Giant Dragon appeared before Mira and the others. Three light-blue dorsal fins ran along its back, while a thin webbing covered its claws. It was slimmer than the Ice Dragon, yet still incredibly muscular, with a more elongated body. Its tail ended like an upward-pointing bladed halberd, and its wings were much longer than the Ice Dragon's. A single horn rose from its head just behind its nose, its teeth were exceptionally sharp, and azure light shone from its eyes.

Then, the blue dragon spoke slowly. "Hmph... It's been a long time since I fought this seriously. Hmph! Fighting you with my full strength is the respect I, Feng Lan, Water Dragon Slayer Mage, will grant you! Come, Ice Dragon!"
