Five Heavenly Kings

"Holy Light William of Azure Pegasus, Ironclad Jura of Serpent Princess's Scales, Sea Ghost Feng Lan of Fairy Tail... Wow! The ace wizards from three guilds actually came this time!" Mati said excitedly.

Feng Lan glanced at Mati's guild emblem. "Yaksha Mask... I haven't heard much about it before."

Mati said somewhat sheepishly, "Hehe, our guild was only founded a little over twenty years ago, so we don't have much of a reputation. But we're very strong!"

Feng Lan thought for a moment, then slowly said, "I remember Yaksha Mask's ace wizard is..."

Mati said excitedly, "It's Big Brother Gale! Big Brother Gale is strong and gentle. He's the person I admire most!"

Feng Lan abruptly slapped his forehead. "Right! God King Gale—he's a wizard of Yaksha Mask! Honestly, how could I forget him?"

"Brother Feng Lan knows Big Brother Gale too!? His Take Over Magic is incredible!" Mati said proudly. "And Big Brother Gale saved my life. He's always treated me well, and everyone in our guild likes him too..."

Feng Lan held out his left arm to stop Mati. "Careful, someone's coming!"

"Hahaha! As expected of Sea Ghost—what sharp senses. Well then... brothers, come on out!" A man in white stepped out of the shadows.

Several figures then emerged before Feng Lan and Mati.

Mati said warily, "You're the Five Heavenly Kings of Broken Wings of Blazing Heaven, aren't you!"

The man in white spread his hands. "That's right. First Heaven of the Five Heavenly Kings, Xin, here to send you off."

A man in brown said, "Second Heaven of the Five Heavenly Kings, Chun."

The woman in blue said seductively, "Third Heaven of the Five Heavenly Kings, Mei."

A little girl in a red dress said, "Fourth Heaven of the Five Heavenly Kings, Mili."

A man in yellow said, "Final Heaven of the Five Heavenly Kings, Dun."

"The Five Heavenly Kings of Broken Wings are here to send you off!" Powerful magic erupted from the five of them and swept toward Feng Lan and Mati.

Feng Lan clenched his fists. "Mati, can you handle that little girl? Leave the other four to me."

Mati nodded. "I should be fine, but are you sure you'll be okay, Brother Feng Lan?"

Feng Lan nodded. "These guys can't do anything to me. Let's finish this quickly so we can support the other group."

Xin shrugged. "Hmm~ We're not that pathetic, are we? Mili, that woman is yours."

Feng Lan nodded at Mati. "Go!"

Chun leaped above Feng Lan and extended his right arm. "Great Forest Prison!"

Branches instantly sprouted from beneath Feng Lan's feet, wrapping around him.

"Water Flow Rupture!" Feng Lan unleashed water energy, shredding the branches to pieces. "Water Spirit Contract!"

Feng Lan condensed three water spheres in his hand and fired them out like bullets.

Mei stepped forward and lightly waved her slender hand. A cube of water enveloped and neutralized Feng Lan's attack. "Water Containment!"

Dun and Xin closed in on Feng Lan from opposite sides.

"Shatter!" Dun activated his magic, hurling dozens of rocks at Feng Lan.

"Metallic Sheen!" Xin drew a magic circle with both hands and fired a silver laser.

Feng Lan leaped high into the air, intending to evade the attacks. But when he reached the sky, the two spells followed close behind him.

"Haha! Those spells track their target!" Xin said mockingly.

"Tch! Water Make." Feng Lan defended with utter disdain. "Round Shield!"

After blocking the attacks, Feng Lan flashed behind Dun. "Source Surge!"

A teal beam shot forth, instantly blasting Dun away.

"Forest Howl Cry!" Chun hurriedly grew branches all around Feng Lan and sent them lashing toward him.

"I'll seal his water! Water Flow Incursion!" Mei covered her entire body in water and charged at Feng Lan.

Feng Lan dodged to the side, avoiding Mei's attack, while the branches continued relentlessly stabbing toward him.

"Requip, Onikiri, Spider Sever!" Feng Lan instantly equipped two Demon Blades. "Twin Moon Sky Flow, Abyssal Waltz!"

Feng Lan swung his blades and twisted through dancing steps, cutting the branches apart one after another.

"Wing Attack of the Water Dragon!" Feng Lan immediately attacked Mei, knocking her flying. "How about that? Dragon's Water isn't something you can contain, is it?"

"Deep Forest..." Chun was just about to attack when Feng Lan flashed before him.

"Moshi Moshi, Dragon Claw of the Water Dragon!" Feng Lan kicked Chun in the head, sending his entire body flying backward.

Xin jumped behind Feng Lan. "Magnetic Bomb!" Feng Lan failed to react in time and was blasted away by the powerful explosion.

After spinning several times in midair, Feng Lan used magic to cushion himself and stabilize his body. "Water Dragon's Roar!"

"Mirror Steel!" Xin condensed a steel plate with magic, blocking Feng Lan's Dragon's Breath. "So this is Sea Ghost Feng Lan's strength? You certainly haven't disappointed me."

Feng Lan smiled faintly. "You're stronger than the others~ Can you let me have a little fun?"

"Torrent of the Water Dragon!" Feng Lan flung out a raging torrent toward Xin.

Xin condensed several rapidly spinning gears. "Spinning Gears!" At Xin's command, the gears collided with Feng Lan's attack.

"Mirror Shot!" Xin clapped his hands together, and a silver steel plate appeared. A barrage of magic bullets shot from it, wildly sweeping toward Feng Lan.

While dodging, Feng Lan drew a magic circle. "Thousand Rain Pines!"

Feng Lan halted his dash, and countless water-forged pine needles flew from the magic circle toward Xin at a speed nearly impossible to see with the naked eye.

"Prism Laser!" Xin hurriedly launched an attack, but he still failed to defend completely. Many pine needles pierced into his body.

"This is my final move... Die!" Xin struggled to support his blood-soaked body and shouted with all his strength, "Steel Century!"

An immensely powerful magical beam shot straight toward Feng Lan.

"Water Moon!" Feng Lan extended both hands and absorbed the magical beam completely. "Rushing Dragon Wave!"

A massive water dragon flew from the Water Moon in Feng Lan's hands, opening its huge maw as it charged toward Xin.

"Snap!" At the crisp sound of Feng Lan's fingers snapping, the water dragon suddenly accelerated and swallowed Xin whole.

Feng Lan rolled his neck. "Whew~ Taken care of."

Elsewhere.

"Fire Creation! Fierce Tiger!" Covered in sweat, Mati was battling Mili.

"Flame Flower!" Mili waved both hands, and a flower of flame bloomed beneath Mati's feet.

"Boom!" After the explosion, both of them were blasted away.

Feng Lan scratched his head. "Hey, Mati, need any help?"

Mati vigorously shook her head. "No, I can fight on my own! If I want to become stronger, I have to fight independently. Big Brother Gale says that to me all the time, and I've always kept it in my heart!"

Mati's fighting spirit ignited once more as she stared at Mili with determined eyes. "Fire Creation! Wolf Pack!"
