When Reason Fails, Can Fists Win?

Liuyun led Kushina to a secluded clearing with few people around. The group of Uchiha brats followed and surrounded them.

There were eight Uchiha in total!

They were all top students at the Ninja Academy, each of them ranking well within their respective classes.

"Kushina, stand aside for now." Liuyun gently pushed her to the side.

"No, you know how strong I am. I can help you!" Kushina said anxiously.

"No need. If I can't beat them later, you can step in and save me..."

"Be good!"

Liuyun looked utterly confident, leaving Kushina uncertain for a moment.

"Fine... But be careful."

Kushina retreated to the side worriedly, her fists clenched tight with nerves.

"You little bastard, we don't know why you've become like this."

Uchiha Chiya was the first to speak.

"But if you're willing to publicly apologize to every clan member at the school, and sincerely apologize to Kazuhiko, we can still accept you again. Otherwise..."

"Otherwise what?" Liuyun smiled calmly and followed up on his words.

"Otherwise, we'll beat you up! Every time we see you, we'll beat you until you're scared, until you submit!"

Uchiha Yan spoke harshly. He hated the smile on Liuyun's face.

Liuyun was about to tell them to come at him when Chiya beat him to it and spoke again.

"You weren't like this before. We know that filthy woman led you astray. If you can recognize your mistakes, I can spare you some suffering..."

Liuyun looked utterly bewildered. He did not even understand what Uchiha Chiya was talking about and instinctively asked, "Which woman?"

"Her, obviously! That rotten tomato!" Another Uchiha pointed at Kushina.

"!!!"

Liuyun was clearly stunned for a moment. He instantly understood that these Uchiha had wildly overthought things.

"This is clearly my business, so why are you blaming Kushina?"

"This is clearly Uchiha Kazuhiko's fault, so why are all of you demanding that I admit fault?"

"You were clearly the ones ganging up on someone weaker, trying to humiliate me in public. Your framing failed, your true faces were exposed, and that was what ruined the Uchiha Clan's reputation. Why don't any of you dare admit it?"

Liuyun fired off three questions in a row, instantly changing the expressions of all eight Uchiha youths.

"Bastard! I told you we shouldn't waste time talking nonsense with him. Why not just beat him up? If he doesn't submit after one beating, then beat him a few more times..." Uchiha Yuta gritted his teeth angrily.

They had no moral ground to stand on, so how could they answer Liuyun's questions?

"Heh... Talking to you is like playing the lute to a cow. Since you're so confident in your strength and think fists can replace reason, then come at me!"

Liuyun crooked a finger at them. He had not expected to reason with this bunch of arrogant fools anyway. They might as well let their fists do the talking!

"You little bastard, do you really not know your own limits?"

Faced with Liuyun's provocation, Uchiha Yuta was the first to attack.

Being provoked by a timid little loser who usually kept his head down was more than he could bear.

Uchiha Yuta took several strides forward, charging straight at Liuyun and swinging his fist directly at his face.

Facing the fierce incoming punch, Liuyun spread his feet slightly, showing no intention of dodging. He drew the Chakra in his body into his arm, then raised his fist to meet it head-on.

Bang!!!

The two fists collided brutally, producing a dull impact that made everyone present's scalps go numb.

"Ah..."

Uchiha Yuta pulled back his fist and let out a miserable scream.

Before he could even retreat a few steps, Liuyun closed in like a ghost and slammed another punch viciously into Uchiha Yuta's jaw.

The scream came to an abrupt stop. Uchiha Yuta was sent flying, and a streak of scarlet sprayed through the air, striking the muddy ground in a glaring splash.

Two punches. Uchiha Yuta was knocked out!

In terms of physical fitness alone, Liuyun was inferior to Uchiha Yuta. But in Chakra control, Liuyun could crush everyone present.

Attaching Chakra to a certain part of the body could increase that part's strength and greatly improve its resistance to impact. Attaching Chakra to a weapon could also make it sharper and enhance its power.

This was a training method only Chunin could normally access. In the original story, Kakashi had taught Chakra control to the three Genin early, greatly increasing the strength of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

None of these Uchiha knew how Yuta had lost. None of them had awakened the Sharingan, so they could not see the changes in Chakra inside his body and could only judge by appearances.

Everyone found the result unbelievable and assumed Liuyun had defeated Uchiha Yuta through physical strength alone.

Liuyun looked thin and frail, while Uchiha Yuta was tall and powerfully built. The result of that comparison was utterly shocking, and the enormous contrast left them unable to recover for a long while.

Seeing them frozen in place, Liuyun seized the opportunity to strike. He darted in front of an Uchiha youth and smashed an Adamantine Fist viciously into the other boy's handsome face.

The Uchiha youth was instantly knocked into a full spin in midair by the tremendous force before crashing heavily onto the ground.

"So... so strong!!!"

Kushina could not help drawing a sharp breath. Liuyun's strength and speed were both flawless. She had never expected this little deskmate of hers to have hidden himself so deeply.

The fight had only just begun, yet he had already displayed such overwhelming power, knocking down two people in a row!

"Don't just stand there! Get him together!"

Uchiha Yan shouted, instantly jolting the six stunned boys awake.

How could the six still dare remain blindly arrogant? If they did not unite and rush him together, they would probably all fall to this little bastard today.

"Good!"

Liuyun's eyes burned with fighting spirit. Rather than fearing the six Uchiha rushing at him together, he was delighted.

These people were all empty-handed. After what had happened with Uchiha Kazuhiko, the Uchiha youths no longer dared casually use blades.

The school had tightened its control over concealed weapons considerably, and the Uchiha youths had all received stern warnings from their teachers and parents. Other than during normal training, they were absolutely forbidden from using Kunai or Shuriken to hurt fellow students.

Liuyun controlled the Chakra in his body, sending it flowing through his limbs and bones. If someone had Byakugan or Sharingan at that moment, they would have seen blue energy racing through his body at an astonishing speed.

Every punch and kick he threw contained terrifying power. Uchiha Yan, who traded blows with him, was forced to retreat again and again, his hands and feet aching and numb.

When one of his companions took over and engaged Liuyun, he hurriedly backed away. After leaving the fight, he panted heavily.

He looked carefully at his hands and feet, only to find his arms and shins red and swollen. Even a light press made him suck in sharp breaths of pain.

Seeing Liuyun still holding the upper hand while surrounded by six people, Kushina was thrilled and let out a heavy sigh of relief.

"Liuyun, beat them up! Beat these annoying bad guys to death!"

Kushina raised her delicate little fist high and shouted at the top of her lungs to cheer on her deskmate.
