The Gods Fall, Liuyun's Life-Death Tribulation

Takamimusubi-no-Kami had already persuaded the other three Kotoamatsukami. Thus, the three Gods chose to honor their promise and attack. From the very start, they went all out, for they knew all too well just how terrifying this intruder was.

Unfortunately, Liuyun's current strength was no longer what it had once been. Perhaps Amenominakanushi could have fought him, but these four Kotoamatsukami were merely equivalent to a severely weakened Izanami. Even working together, they could hardly contend with Liuyun head-on!

Amenotokotachi-no-Kami immediately froze time, buying the other High Gods an immensely precious opportunity to attack. Countless attacks shot into the Spatial Vortex in an instant, striking directly at Liuyun's true body.

The arm Liuyun had extended across space to wield his sword was blasted into a bloody mess, flesh and blood spraying everywhere. Yet even if only a ghastly white bone arm remained, the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi's assault did not pause in the slightest.

Sword light capable of tearing apart all tangible and intangible things soared into the sky. More terrifying still, every time Liuyun swung his sword, its attack ignored the distance of space in the next instant and directly struck its target!

As the skeletal arm continued its relentless assault, the screams of the four Kotoamatsukami soon echoed throughout the universe. Their bodies were completely dismembered by the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, and even their divine souls were hacked into pieces!

Only now did the four High Gods realize that they had provoked someone they never should have provoked. The man before them had clearly been sent by Heaven to reap them. Yet, laughably, they had not understood the terror of this tribulation aimed at the Gods... It would have been one thing if they had failed to withdraw, but they had even deluded themselves into trying to fight against Heaven!
