Old Jack nodded. Then Su Yuntao opened the doors to the Martial Soul Awakening Hall and led Lu Mingchuan and the other children inside.

Lu Mingchuan looked around curiously.

Just like it was described in the novels from my previous life.

Once everyone had taken their places, Su Yuntao took several stone-like objects from his bag and arranged them in a circle. He then pulled out a crystal ball and turned to say, "Let me introduce myself. My name is Su Yuntao, a level twenty-seven Battle Spirit Master. My Martial Soul is Lone Wolf."

Then he gave a low shout, "Lone Wolf Possession!"

Su Yuntao's body rapidly swelled. Fur sprouted across his back, hands, and face, his nails lengthened into sharp claws, and a pair of dagger-like canine teeth protruded from his mouth.

The children, aside from Tang San and Lu Mingchuan, could not help showing fear at Su Yuntao's transformation.

After seeing Su Yuntao undergo Martial Soul Possession, Lu Mingchuan began examining him intently. This was his first time seeing what a Beast Spirit Master looked like after possessing their Martial Soul.

What a shame. My Martial Soul isn't a beast type, so I won't get to experience what Beast Martial Soul Possession feels like.

Su Yuntao pointed at the first child and began awakening Martial Souls. Several children went through the process, but without exception, none possessed Soul Power.

At last, it was Lu Mingchuan's turn. He stepped forward and stood within the awakening array. Su Yuntao did not waste any words and immediately began awakening his Martial Soul.

Lu Mingchuan felt an energy unlike Imaginary Energy being injected into his body. It slowly stirred something within him. He raised his right hand, and an exquisite bow appeared in his palm. Lu Mingchuan knew that this was the Imperial Bow.

Once the Imperial Bow appeared in his hand, the energy within him seemed to have completed its task and was assimilated by his Imaginary Energy. Lu Mingchuan curiously studied the miniature Imperial Bow in his hand.

The bow itself had few decorations, yet it still looked imposing and handsome, radiating a faint sense of pressure.

Su Yuntao gave it a cursory glance.

"A bow Martial Soul. It's a fairly decent Tool Spirit."

He then had Lu Mingchuan test his Soul Power. When Lu Mingchuan placed his hand on the Spirit Power Orb, he felt a faint pulling force coming from it.

Following that pull, Lu Mingchuan slowly guided the Imaginary Energy within his body outward. Under the system's effects, the Imaginary Energy was disguised as Soul Power. Only when the Spirit Power Orb before him shone brilliantly did Lu Mingchuan cut off the flow.

Su Yuntao stared at Lu Mingchuan in shock and blurted out, "Innate Full Soul Power? How is that possible?"

He then asked Lu Mingchuan about his Martial Soul again. When he learned that it was called the Imperial Bow, he could not help praising it. "A good name. It sounds extraordinary at once."

Then eagerness appeared in his eyes. "What is this little friend's name? Would you be willing to join Spirit Hall? Spirit Hall is—"

Su Yuntao, worried that Lu Mingchuan was too young to understand how formidable Spirit Hall was, had just begun his introduction when Lu Mingchuan interrupted him.

"Uncle, my name is Lu Mingchuan. As for joining Spirit Hall, I'd like to discuss it with my grandfather first when I get home."

Su Yuntao smacked his forehead. "Right. Then I'll go find your grandfather with you later."

Hearing this, Old Jack could not help feeling happy for Tang San, though he cautiously asked, "What about the other one?"

Su Yuntao pointed at Lu Mingchuan and laughed heartily. "The other is your grandson. He awakened the Imperial Bow Martial Soul."

Lu Mingchuan chuckled when he saw Old Jack looking at him.

Old Jack froze for a moment upon seeing Lu Mingchuan's smile, then burst into hearty laughter. After laughing for a while, tears began streaming down his aged face. Lu Mingchuan wiped them away for him.

Su Yuntao understood those emotions as well, so he quietly waited nearby for Old Jack to compose himself. After an unknown amount of time, Old Jack finally calmed down.

Su Yuntao took the opportunity to ask that Lu Mingchuan join Spirit Hall. Old Jack had originally wanted Lu Mingchuan to join, but after glancing at him, he politely declined at Lu Mingchuan's signal.

After being refused, Su Yuntao did not press the matter. He issued the Spirit Soul Certificate, said, "The doors of Spirit Hall will always be open to Lu Mingchuan," and left.

"Ding! Congratulations, host, for completing the mission. Rewards obtained: 1,000 Points, one Character Ten-Pull, and one Exclusive Spirit Ring."

Lu Mingchuan summoned the system panel again.
