Background

Tang San was a former Tang Sect disciple in his past life and concealed his cultivation techniques after arriving in Holy Soul Village. When Lu Mingchuan witnessed his training at age five, Tang San attempted to silence him but failed because Lu Mingchuan's physique surpassed his own. The encounter established Tang San's lasting murderous hostility toward Lu. 3

He is Tang Hao and Ah Yin's son, inheriting their Twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. Tang Hao could not openly train him and arranged for Yu Xiaogang to become his teacher, hoping Xiaogang could guide Tang San's Twin Martial Soul cultivation. 9

Personality

Tang San is intensely secretive and quick to treat perceived threats, humiliation, or obstacles as reasons to kill. He repeatedly fixates on Lu Mingchuan's death, adds Zhao Wuji to his grudges after being defeated, and reacts with resentment when his first Soul Ring proves to be only ten years old. 3 14 27

His concern for Xiao Wu is genuine but often becomes reckless. He restarted Zhao Wuji's assessment after Xiao Wu was injured, attacked Zhao Wuji's vital points with hidden weapons, and later concealed Xiao Wu's Soul Beast aura while prioritizing her protection. 24 95

After his rebirth as a God King, Tang San becomes increasingly self-reliant and overconfident. He dismisses Yu Xiaogang's guidance, assumes his prior knowledge will let him reclaim lost opportunities, and repeatedly underestimates Lu Mingchuan despite their established power gap. 80 89 95
