After surviving the beast tide at Flying Immortal City, Wang Chen profited from the city’s rebuilding and joined a mountain-crossing expedition with Li Yi'an. Their party was devastated by demons and spirits, then abandoned at White Hair Peak, where Wang Chen and Li Qingxi continued alone.

• Wang Chen killed the Crimson Earth Beast, reached Flying Immortal City during a demonic assault, and watched the White Tiger Sect drive the beasts away.
• Wang Chen bought residents’ deeds, sold most of them for a large profit, established the Dust Smoke Talisman Shop, and later joined the Mountain Crossing Society’s expedition.
• Wang Chen survived attacks by Fire Ants, Boar Cavalry, Three-Eyed Stone Apes, and a Golden Core Great Demon as the expedition crossed Jade Dragon Mountain Range.
• Li Yi'an joined Wang Chen during the journey, and they practiced the Primordial Yin Harmonization Secret Method together after the Great Demon attack.
• At Mountain Lord Temple, Wang Chen and the other cultivators fought Mountain Ghosts through the night, suffering deaths and injuries before the ferrymen abandoned the survivors at White Hair Peak.
• Wang Chen and Li Yi'an climbed White Hair Peak, where she revealed her true name was Li Qingxi and said she planned to leave after they crossed it.
• Wang Chen saw a cultivator trying to lead White-Haired Ice Fiends toward them, evaded the creatures with Li Qingxi, and later recovered the man’s Storage Bag and shield.

Wang Chen joined Datian Village as its chief, uncovered a kidnapping and mining scheme tied to Yuan Shenkui, and helped bring down the local leaders who supported it. After rescuing the miners and earning the villagers’ trust, he began organizing relief, schooling, and hunting for the village.

• Wang Chen settled into Datian Village, won Xiao He’s loyalty, and took up farming while Huang Deqi and Chen Anhe tested his authority.
• Wang Chen pursued kidnappers into the mountains, defeated the Gray Wolf Bandits, rescued their prisoners, and uncovered Yuan Shenkui’s hidden blood-pool scheme beneath the Purple Copper Mine.
• Wang Chen defeated and captured Yuan Shenkui, then brought hundreds of rescued miners back to Datian Village.
• Luo Zhen identified Yuan Shenkui and explained that Huang Deqi, Chen Anhe, and Temple Priestess Xu had helped him in exchange for promised pills.
• West Sea Sect Battle Cultivators arrested the three village leaders and confiscated their assets, while Wang Chen became Datian Village’s trusted new pillar.
• Wang Chen treated Little Ya’s wounded grandfather and proposed aid for poor households, a village Guard Team, and a free primary school.
• Xiao Hong led the Guard Team in hunting Tusked Boars, and the hunters continued into the mountains to store meat for winter.

Wang Chen left Datian Village for the West Sea Sect, where he defended Xiao Lian and used his new status to navigate Lotus City’s rivalries. After passing the sect’s entrance trial by killing Zhou Senzhi, he was accepted into the Inner Sect and learned he had three years to join a branch.

• Wang Chen cleansed Datian Village of evil, arranged for Xiao Hong to succeed him as village chief, and left for the Central Region after receiving his Inner Sect token and gifts from local powers.
• In Lotus City, Wang Chen defended Xiao Lian from Lu Pengze, helped her win the Courtesan Queen title, freed her from her deed of sale, and asked White Crane True Person to cure her ghostly birthmark.
• Wang Chen attended a gathering for new West Sea Sect disciples, rebuked Lu Pengfei for challenging him, and was sent to Myriad Spirit City to complete an entrance-trial mission.
• Wang Chen bought intelligence from Dongming Residence, tracked Zhou Senzhi to Shangyang Village, and disguised himself to investigate the villagers.
• Wang Chen lured Zhou Senzhi out and killed him, then returned to the West Sea Sect with his head as proof of completing the mission.

Wang Chen settled into West Sea Sect life, took Zuo Xiaomo as a Dao Guardian’s charge, and rescued Wuyan Town and Huai Shan County from a spreading Evil Spirit disaster. After earning merit and advancing his cultivation, he awakened the hungry Life-Giving Creation Cauldron but put off artifact refining to focus on strength.

• Wang Chen met Zuo Xiaomo and Zuo Xiaolan in Myriad Spirit City, refined his Wind Thunder Sword, and selected Mystic Fire Flying Crow and Primal Gengjin Finger at the Library Pavilion.
• Wang Chen outbid Zuo Qingcheng for an Ancient Sealed Jade, agreed to serve as Zuo Xiaomo’s Dao Guardian, and found the sealed Life-Giving Creation Cauldron inside it.
• Wang Chen accepted an Exorcism Envoy mission, rescued fleeing residents of Wuyan Town, and returned to destroy its Evil Spirits and Black Grudge-rank monster.
• Wang Chen cleared Evil Spirits in nearby settlements and worked with Zhao Hongyi to uncover the hidden culprit threatening Huai Shan County.
• Wang Chen trapped and killed the disguised Evil Cultivator in Tian Shu Pavilion, then drove off the Evil Spirit army outside Huai Shan City and pursued hundreds of fleeing spirits.
• Wang Chen received Merit Points and Spirit Stones for his mission, renewed his rent, and advanced to the Purple Mansion second layer.
