• Wang Chen returned to the West Sea Sect with evidence of Fa Ming’s ambush, and the sect confronted the Buddhist Sect while he helped secure a light punishment for the Wu Family.
• Wang Chen brought Meng Fei and the other children to Myriad Spirit City, where Changhe True Person accepted them into his lineage and gave Wang Chen a mission in the Yinming Realm.

Wang Chen survived the collapse of the frontier outposts and helped defend Weifa City from an enormous Evil Monster assault. He joined the expedition against a Giant Cocoon Evil Nest, became trapped in its illusion array, and led more than a hundred cultivators to its heart while True Person Bai Jun battled the Flying Centipede outside.

• Wang Chen destroyed Evil Nests in the mountains, but Senior Brother Chen’s group unleashed a deadly outbreak when they attacked an unstable nest.
• Wang Chen sheltered Yun Feifei, Sun Yulian, and Li Mengyan at his guard station, then led them through an escape tunnel when a Baleful Intent spirit destroyed the station.
• Wang Chen and the three women fled to Weifa City, where they learned the Teleportation Array was disabled and the surrounding Killing Intent was intensifying.
• Wang Chen helped defend Weifa City against a massive Evil Monster army, fighting on the walls as the City Protection Array failed and monsters breached the gates.
• After the battle, True Person Bai Jun formed a Demon Suppressing Army to destroy a rapidly growing Evil Nest, and Wang Chen volunteered for the expedition.
• The Legion attacked the Giant Cocoon Evil Nest, whose Evil Spirit Illusion Array separated Wang Chen from the others, but Wang Chen fought through its passages and rescued trapped cultivators.
• Wang Chen led more than one hundred cultivators to the Evil Nest’s heart, where they attacked it as True Person Bai Jun trapped the Flying Centipede outside.
• As Evil Monsters poured into the cavern, Wang Chen ordered the cultivators to form a defensive array and struck the heart with his Hidden Dragon Staff.

After destroying the Evil Nest, Wang Chen returned to the West Sea Sect, became Changhe True Person’s disciple, and represented the Daoist cultivators at the Spirit Mountain Dharma Assembly. He learned that he was a Heavenly Demon, survived a Golden Core ambush, and forged the Dragon Abyss Sword before the story left him with a new weapon.

• Wang Chen destroyed the Evil Nest Core, escaped the collapsing nest with the cultivators, and returned to Weifa City, where True Person Bai Jun rewarded him and Wang Chen chose to return to the Mountain Sea Realm.
• Wang Chen returned to the West Sea Sect, joined Changhe True Person’s lineage, and moved into Tingtao Manor despite Mo Zhenzhen’s demands that he leave.
• Changhe True Person chose Wang Chen to represent the West Sea Sect at the Spirit Mountain Dharma Assembly, where Wang Chen confronted Xuan Yuan Temple’s mistreatment of the Daoist representatives and became their chief representative.
• Monk Wuxiang gave Wang Chen the final three levels of the Heavenly Dragon Vajra Righteous Dharma and revealed that Wang Chen was a Heavenly Demon from another world who needed to reach the Upper Realm to escape a coming calamity.
• Wang Chen defeated Zhihai in a fight to the death on the Lotus Platform, then learned from Wuxiang that Wuxiang had spared him and helped him prepare to cross into the Upper Realm.
• After Wang Chen left Chituo City, Qiu Jianshan ambushed him in the desert, but Changhe True Person intervened and brought him safely back to Changhe Island.
• Wang Chen chose the Dragon Abyss Sword as his natal Magic Treasure, gathered its required materials with Little Cauldron, and forged the sword in the Life-Giving Creation Cauldron after sacrificing two other swords.

Wang Chen entered the Azure Heaven Secret Realm, challenged the Heaven-Connecting Tower, and helped West Sea Sect survivors return home. After learning how dangerous the journey to the Upper Realm could be, he secured a place to leave the Mountain Sea Realm and prepared to depart.

• Wang Chen forged and nurtured the Dragon Abyss Sword, reunited with Xu Xinlan, and broke through to the seventh level of the Heavenly Dragon Vajra Righteous Dharma.
• Wang Chen joined Yin Sulan’s search for the Azure Heaven Secret Realm, followed the Primordial Dao Stele’s guidance, and fought alongside her against Demonic Beasts and Rogue Cultivators.
• Wang Chen and the West Sea Sect cultivators defended the Secret Realm’s entrance from Rogue Cultivators before the gate opened, and Wang Chen entered the Heaven-Connecting Tower.
• Wang Chen cleared the tower’s first six floors, found three Spirit Reversal Vermilion Fruits for Yin Sulan, then failed the seventh-floor challenge and lost one Divine Soul point.
• Wang Chen rescued West Sea Sect disciples from Rogue Cultivators and led the survivors out of the Taiwu Mountains, then gave Yin Sulan one of the fruits for her brother’s Heaven Restoration Pill.
• Wang Chen gave Changhe True Person the remaining fruits and gained Spiritual Root and comprehension, then met Yin Sulan’s Ninth Uncle to learn about reaching the Haotian Realm.
• Wang Chen reached the sixth layer of the Purple Mansion and received confirmation that he had a place on a journey to the Upper Realm, departing in three days.
