After a deadly mission leaves Shrek’s team weakened, Huo Yuhao challenges the academy’s priorities while helping its reserves compete in the Soul Master Tournament. Shrek reaches the semifinals, but its cheating is exposed and several students decide to leave.

• Huo Yuhao rejected He Caitou’s Extreme Individual Soldier Plan, marked the Golden Tree’s roots with the Eye of Eternity, and returned badly injured.
• Xuan Zi led the students on a mission against the Hand of Death, where Yao Haoxuan died and several others were gravely wounded before Huo Yuhao helped defeat the Messenger of Death.
• Zhang Lexuan led the remaining Shrek team to Star Luo City, while Wang Dong'er and others questioned the academy’s priorities and resolved to fight for their own convictions.
• Huo Yuhao purified the Spirit Devouring Engraving Knife with Electrolux’s help, gained a Divine Mark, and learned that he could not yet break Tang San’s seal in Wang Dong'er’s Spiritual Sea.
• Shrek continued in the tournament as Beibei was seriously injured, Huo Yuhao and Ling Luochen defeated Changning Academy, and the group attended auctions where Huo Yuhao recognized the danger within the Deity Conferring Platform.
• Huo Yuhao followed the Deity Conferring Platform’s disappearance as Shrek advanced, while Du Busi and Jing Hongchen confronted Xuan Zi and both urged Huo Yuhao to join them.
• Huo Yuhao and several teammates declared they would leave or distance themselves from Shrek after the tournament, while Mu En sensed his death was near.
• Before the semifinal against Star Luo Royal Academy, the Heavenly Fiend Douluo accused Shrek of cheating, and Xu Jiawei ordered the match to proceed as both teams released their Martial Souls.

Huo Yuhao left Shrek, gathered allies, and forged a bond with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and Gu Yuena while rebuilding the Ming Sect. The arc ended with him entering the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy, where Xuan Ziwen recognized his talent and an orange-blonde girl appeared.

• Huo Yuhao’s team defeated Star Luo, then withdrew from the tournament and Shrek Academy, prompting him to declare his plan to rebuild the Ming Sect.
• Huo Yuhao accepted the Ice Jade Scorpion Left Arm Bone from Xu Jiujiu, healed Wang Xian’er with the Gold of Life, and chose the Mingdou Mountain Range as his sect’s location.
• Mu En passed his legacy to Beibei and named the next Shrek Seven Monsters, while Huo Yuhao traveled into the Star Dou Great Forest to help his companions obtain Soul Rings.
• Huo Yuhao formed a soul contract with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, met Gu Yuena, and divided the Golden Dragon King’s Divine Core among himself, Qiu’er, and Gu Yuena.

• Huo Yuhao demonstrated a novel Soul Tool Core Array and challenged Xuan Ziwen to broaden his thinking about Soul Tools, just as a sleepy orange-blonde girl entered the room.

Huo Yuhao advanced his Soul Tool research, built allies, and confronted the Holy Spirit Cult before seeking the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. He removed Tang San’s Divine Sense from Wang Dong’er, while Beibei prepared Shrek Academy to oppose him.

• Ju Zi discovered that fourteen-year-old Huo Yuhao had reached Level 3 as a Soul Engineer, and he later completed a Level 5 Core Array and developed a prototype for Knight Battle Armor.
• Huo Yuhao defeated Wang Shaojie’s attempt to bully him, gained Jing Hongchen’s protection and research support, and declined Xu Tianran’s offer to become sworn brothers.
• Huo Yuhao helped Ju Zi test the All-Terrain Detection Soul Tool, then led the group into the Jingyang Mountain Range, where he and Xiao Xiao obtained Soul Rings.
• Huo Yuhao won the Soul Engineer tournament, helped Nana free her parents’ souls from the Holy Spirit Cult, and led an attack that destroyed a hidden branch of the cult.
• Huo Yuhao revealed his goal of unifying the continent, completed his Level 6 certification, and traveled with Wang Dong’er to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• Huo Yuhao consumed the Immortal Herbs’ Blazing Gel and Ice Rain Dew and descended into the well, while Qiu’er used the Power of Destiny to show Wang Dong’er his memories.
• Wang Dong’er fought Tang San’s Divine Sense with Huo Yuhao’s support, and Huo Yuhao later extracted it from her Spiritual Sea and sealed it in Tang San’s book.
• Beibei accused Huo Yuhao of betraying Shrek and prepared his team to oppose him, while Wang Dong’er awoke free of Tang San’s influence and embraced Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao distributed Immortal Herbs, strengthened the Ming Sect, and developed a Soul Transmission method that turned Soul Spirits into Undead while freeing cultivation from ordinary Soul Ring restrictions. As Tang Ya and Zhang Lexuan reached major breakthroughs, the Sun Moon Empire prepared for the tournament and Xu Tianran investigated Huo Yuhao’s growing influence.

• Huo Yuhao gave Immortal Herbs to his companions and allies, helping Wang Dong'er, Meng Hongchen, Vina, Ning Tian, Wu Feng, and others achieve major gains in power.
• Du Busi reached rank ninety-nine after absorbing the Snow Swan Kiss, named Huo Yuhao his successor, and sent Long Aotian to assist him as the Body Sect's next Vice Sect Leader.
• Huo Yuhao assembled the Ming Sect's tournament team, bonded with Wang Dong'er, and made Snow Empress his Soul Spirit, gaining a 700,000-year Head Soul Bone and the Eye of Eternity.
• After learning of the Divine Realm's restrictions, Huo Yuhao and Electrolux developed the Soul Martial Way and transformed the Aurora Fairy into an Undead while Huo Yuhao condensed his Soul Rings into one Golden Soul Ring.
