Yun Ye and the King's Void Hall arrived at Marie Geoise, where the World Government used a Pacifista force field to withstand his Conqueror's Haki. Yun Ye then sent a massive island falling toward the city, forcing the combat-capable Five Elders to prepare to stop it.
The Quincy used the Sway-Sway Fruit to turn a destroyed island into a devastating attack against the government forces. The government army shattered the resulting sphere, but the Quincy’s clash with them continued.
King's Void Hall launched its assault on the Red Line, with the Ten Blades destroying government gun emplacements and leading their forces into battle. The chapter ended with both sides locked in fierce combat, including Germa 66's clash against the Pacifista Corps.
The government deployed Vegapunk’s four new-generation Seraphim to kill the Ten Blades, and the Seraphim clashed with Ye Qi, Law, Tesoro, and Hawkins. The battle remained fierce as the Quincy watched the new Seraphim’s abilities unfold.
Aokiji led the Navy into the battle at Marie Geoise, openly breaking with the World Government and attacking its forces. The fighting intensified as the World Government sent its own powerful fighters to stop the Navy.
The Quincy sent three elemental Homies after the Five Elders, overwhelming them with attacks that resembled Night Blade’s powers and sword techniques. As the Homies’ final slashes threatened to kill the wounded Elders, a cold snort and powerful Armament Haki stopped the attacks in midair.
The Quincy and Im finally confronted each other, trading a devastating attack before their Conqueror's Haki clash overwhelmed nearly everyone on the battlefield. The armies lay incapacitated, leaving the outcome of their battle to the two powerful combatants.
The Quincy fought Im on the Red Line, using his lightning, skills, and Haki against Im’s awakened power. After activating fourth-stage Instant Burst, the Quincy broke through Im’s Armament Haki and sent him flying with a blow to the chest.
Night Blade uncovered Uranus, a gigantic stone dragon buried beneath the Red Line, and Im hurried to protect it as the battlefield’s surviving fighters raced toward the awakening creature. The chapter left Night Blade facing the dragon and testing his Conqueror’s Haki against its overwhelming pressure.
Yeren battled the newly awakened dragon Uranus, whose rage and fear led it to reveal that it was the first living being born from “Mother” and that Devil Fruits drew on her origin power. The fight continued as Uranus’s freezing attack failed to stop Yeren’s burning slash.
Ye Ren burned Uranus with golden flames, but Imu arrived and freed the dragon before subduing it with a strange power. Uranus revealed its hatred of Imu, leaving Ye Ren and the Quincy to wonder about their past and Imu’s connection to Alabasta.
Imu revealed that Life Tree Eve was the source of Devil Fruits and that he had created them using technology from Space Pirates, while Morgans broadcast the revelation worldwide. The chapter ended with Quincy and Nightblade attacking Imu and Uranus as Imu claimed he was immortal.
As Yun Ye and Imu’s final battle began, Shirahoshi recalled the ancient history of Joy Boy, the Lunarians, and the origins of Devil Fruits. Her memories revealed how Imu and a Space Pirate defeated Joy Boy and Poseidon, founded the World Government, and destroyed the Great Kingdom; the present battle continued with its outcome unresolved.
Yun Ye and Im continued their battle while Im fused Uranus into his body and revealed his plan to absorb Eve’s powers and become the world’s supreme god. Yun Ye then exposed that the Quincy was his other body, merged with him, and prepared to fight Im with both bodies’ powers as the world watched.
Yun Ye defeated Im with Zanka no Tachi, ending the World Government’s rule and establishing himself as the world’s strongest power. After returning to Moonlit Island, he opened passages to unknown worlds and sent Gia Clones through them, setting his sights on the sea of stars.
