"The Black and White Mask, carrying a blade—it really is the Bounty Hunter who has become famous lately, Quincy!"

"D-Damn it, why did a Bounty Hunter get onto the island without anyone knowing? Didn't the Dia Mafia promise that Marines and Bounty Hunters weren't allowed to land here?"

"D-Dammit! Run, hurry and run! The Bounty Hunter is here!"

"Go notify Dia's men! Tell them a Bounty Hunter has landed on the island!"

Everyone here had bounties on their heads to some extent. Hearing that a Bounty Hunter was present naturally gave them a huge fright.

What was more, this was the recently renowned Bounty Hunter who had single-handedly wiped out a Pirate Crew with a bounty of over ten million!

The scene immediately descended into chaos. With a great uproar, everyone rushed outside!

Yun Ye was somewhat speechless. Aren't you making way too big a fuss?

What are you panicking for? It's not like I planned to catch you!

His only target was Evil Ghost. He had no intention of laying hands on anyone else.

But Yun Ye was the only one thinking that way. The others reacted swiftly and had already vanished without a trace.

Very quickly, an open space was cleared in the middle of the venue.

Fine. Now that I know Evil Ghost is here, this will be easy!

Yun Ye had come here for Evil Ghost alone. Since he knew where he was, he only needed to go straight to his door.

That guy was slippery as an eel. Even after his ship had been hit by Yun Ye, he had still managed to flee to this island and hide.

However, there was only one harbor on the island, and it was not far from him. Their pirate ship bearing Evil Ghost's emblem was docked there. If they tried to leave, there was no way they could escape Yun Ye's eyes.

Yun Ye tossed a stack of Beli onto the table, turned around, and left the tavern.

When he reached the street, he found that there were barely any people left there either.

They had all heard that a Bounty Hunter had appeared and fled in fright!

Of course, there were exceptions. Not far away, a group of people watched this side with great interest, apparently unafraid of Yun Ye.

Yun Ye did not know them, nor did he care to. He headed in one direction.

"So this is the Bounty Hunter who has risen to fame recently? He doesn't look like much!"

"Hehe, now this will be entertaining. This is Dia's territory, yet a Bounty Hunter actually dared to land on the island. He really doesn't fear death!"

"I remember last time, a Bounty Hunter landed on the island out of ignorance. Dia's men beat him into a cripple, then hung him at the harbor and let him starve to death!"

The group watched Yun Ye and discussed him with laughter.

Yun Ye suddenly stopped walking. People had appeared ahead of him.

They came rushing over in a swarm, looking fierce and aggressive!

Every one of them wore a vicious grin.

"Where's the Bounty Hunter? Where is he? Come out and let me see who has the guts to come here!"

"Haha, move aside and let me handle this. After what happened last time, there's still a Bounty Hunter who dared land on this island? He really doesn't fear death!"

"Boss, looks like your words don't carry much weight. There are still Bounty Hunters daring to set foot on the island!"

One of them was a muscular man with a bare upper body, an eyepatch covering one eye. He grinned viciously, revealing several missing teeth, then snorted. "I want to know too! Who dares cause trouble on my, Dia's, turf!"

Very soon, the group arrived here.

They saw Yun Ye standing in the middle of the street.

"The Black and White Mask. Looks like you're that Quincy!"

Upon seeing Yun Ye, one of the lackeys gave a vicious grin, his tone mocking.

A Bounty Hunter?

Just kill him!

"Evil Ghost really is trash. He actually got chased all the way here by such a little runt. That's why pirates are nothing but useless garbage!"

"Those Great Pirates of the New World, like Whitebeard and Red-Haired—aren't they just bragging about themselves?"

Looking at the scrawny little Yun Ye, Dia sneered disdainfully.

Pirates were garbage. They could not even deal with such a frail-looking fellow and had to flee here to seek refuge.

He even suspected that those Great Pirates in the newspapers were all exaggerated nonsense.

He had seen hundreds, if not thousands, of pirates, yet not one of them had ever caught his eye!

Besides, the title Great Pirate did not sound nearly as impressive as the title of the person behind him!

Behind him stood a King of the Dark World!

King and Great Pirate—those clearly belonged to two different levels!

Dia stepped forward, looking at Yun Ye with a savage smile. "Hey, brat, don't you know what kind of place this is?"

"Hehe..." Hearing Dia's words, Yun Ye could not help laughing. This was truly amusing. Dia had actually said something like that.

The ignorant truly feared nothing!

"Sorry, I'm not interested, nor do I want to know what kind of place this is. Could you please move aside?" Yun Ye smiled faintly, as though he did not understand the situation at all.

Hearing Yun Ye's mocking laugh, Dia's face turned cold. He spat a thick gob of phlegm at Yun Ye.

Yun Ye's expression chilled, and he dodged aside with Flash Step.

"You dare dodge? Get him! Break all four of his limbs. I'll make sure to properly deal with him!"

Dia's expression darkened when he saw Yun Ye actually dodge.

This guy dared defy him. He was courting death!

One lackey charged Yun Ye with a grin, stabbing his dagger toward Yun Ye's arm. "Hehe, the boss has spoken. Just wait for death. I'll take one of your arms first!"

"I wasn't planning to bother with you, but you people insisted on seeking death!" Yun Ye suddenly smiled and pointed a finger at the man.

With a crackle, White Lightning shot forth and pierced the lackey's heart!

The lackey rasped twice before losing all signs of life.

"He acted! Haha, he fought Dia's men! Now I have a chance to survive!"

To the side, the burly man known as Evil Ghost hid nearby and watched everything unfold before him.

Seeing Yun Ye make his move, his heart shook, and wild joy surged within him.

This damned Bounty Hunter had dared attack Dia's men. Now he was dead for sure!

"You still dare resist? How bold! Do you think being a Devil Fruit user means you can act arrogantly in my territory?"

Seeing Yun Ye kill his lackey, a cold glint flashed through Dia's eyes. His body flashed as he charged straight at Yun Ye.

Unlike those ignorant fools, he knew what Devil Fruits were.

He had seen such miraculous abilities more than once!

"You know a little, at least. But you still have to die!" Yun Ye laughed, spreading his five fingers as lightning gleamed in his palm.

Thunder Roar Cannon!

With a thunderous boom, a bolt rang out beneath the clear sky.

A pillar of lightning blasted forth and struck Dia directly, scorching him black!

He was then flung into the crowd. With another boom, explosive shockwaves swept out and engulfed everyone!

In an instant, nearly half of Dia's group died!

The other half had also been caught, to varying degrees, by the explosion's aftermath.

They pointed at Yun Ye, their voices trembling as they shouted fiercely to hide their fear:

"Y-You..."

"You actually killed Boss Dia? Boss Dia is the representative here of a certain big shot!"

"You're finished! You're dead! One of that big shot's officers is on the island. Killing Boss Dia means you've offended that big shot!"

"From now on, you'll face endless pursuit until you die in despair!"
