The sudden turn of events made everyone present tense up and look over.

Every face was grave.

"Yo, you're all here!"

Yun Ye walked over at an unhurried pace, his voice ringing across the area.

Diamante frowned as he sized Yun Ye up, his gaze finally settling on Yun Ye's mask. He said coldly, "Black and White Mask, you... are the Quincy Bounty Hunter who stole our things?"

Black and White Mask was the description intelligence had given for that Bounty Hunter.

Yun Ye spotted Diamante as well and recognized him immediately.

One of the Donquixote Family's highest-ranking officers, Diamante, who had eaten the Feather-Feather Fruit!

However, Yun Ye did not stop moving and continued forward. "Stole? I got this from a Pirate Crew. A Bounty Hunter kills pirates and takes everything they have. That's only natural, isn't it?"

"Hmph!"

Diamante snorted coldly and looked at Yun Ye with contempt. "I don't care where you got it, but let me give you some advice. Hand it over obediently, or you won't be able to bear the consequences!"

"Heh, are you trying to use the Donquixote Family name to pressure me, or Doflamingo's title as one of the Shichibukai?" Yun Ye said with a smile.

A sharp glint flashed through Diamante's eyes as he shouted coldly, "You know we belong to the Donquixote Family, yet you still dare act so presumptuously? Do you think taking down a Pirate Crew with a 40 million beli bounty means you can challenge the Donquixote Family?"

Yun Ye said flatly, "If Doflamingo had said that to me, he might have had some standing. You, however, aren't qualified!"

"Arrogant!"

Anger flashed in Diamante's eyes. Yun Ye's arrogant attitude had enraged him!

Yun Ye had already stolen a Devil Fruit that was extremely important to them, and the two sides had formed a grudge. Now he was even saying something this arrogant.

Did he really think they would not dare kill him?

"Whether I'm arrogant or not, you'll find out if you try!" Yun Ye had already drawn close. He sneered and attacked directly!

Lightning surged behind him, and the fabric around his shoulders ripped apart. Yun Ye's clothes had been specially made, so only the shoulder areas tore while the rest remained intact.

Yun Ye stepped forward and used Flash Step, charging ahead at incredible speed.

His target was Diamante!

Diamante was startled when he saw the lightning coursing over Yun Ye's body, but as someone with Observation Haki, he reacted quickly.

The strip of cloth in his hand abruptly transformed into a sharp longsword, extending outward as he thrust it forward.

"Sword: Snake Sword!"

Diamante had eaten the Paramecia Feather-Feather Fruit, allowing him to turn anything he touched into lightweight silk.

The clothes on his body were also made of special steel, though he had transformed them into silk with his ability and worn them that way.

The longsword in his hand moved like a supple snake, stabbing toward Yun Ye from a tricky angle, intending to pierce Yun Ye's head before he could get close.

Yun Ye's senses were not weak, and he had been prepared. He was not startled by the sudden attack, merely twisting aside to evade it.

His speed did not decrease. Instead, it became even faster!

He flashed over in an instant, momentum lending his body tremendous force. Yun Ye gathered his strength and threw a punch at Diamante.

"Bullfight Cape!"

Sensing the power behind Yun Ye's punch, Diamante's expression changed slightly. He hurriedly raised the cape from his back in front of himself.

Bang!

Yun Ye's fist struck the soft cape, yet it felt as though he had hit solid steel.

However, the force of Yun Ye's punch was not so easily dispersed.

The force pierced through, driving Diamante backward. His feet stomped out a series of footprints across the ground.

Even the sturdy cape bore the imprint of a fist!

"Not a bad Devil Fruit Ability! Then try this!" Yun Ye spread his five fingers as a Light Pillar of lightning gathered in his palm.

Thunder Roar Cannon!

As his proficiency increased, Yun Ye had become increasingly adept at using Thunder Roar Cannon.

For skills with proficiency at 100, such as White Lightning and Azure Firefall, Yun Ye could already freely control their power, whether he chanted or not.

Thunder Roar Cannon was now at 65 proficiency!

The lightning pillar shockwave shot forward!

Diamante planted one foot into the ground. The tremendous force shattered the earth behind him, but he barely managed to halt himself using the recoil.

However, when he looked up, he saw a thick Light Pillar of lightning charging toward him.

"Half Moon... Funeral!"

At the critical moment, Diamante had no time to think. He unleashed all his potential and, at the last instant, swung his longsword, sending a crescent-shaped sword aura flying out!

Boom!

Two distinct but powerful forces collided in midair, erupting with terrifying shockwaves that spread in every direction!

Because he was too close to the center of the explosion, Diamante was caught by the blast's aftermath and sent flying backward at high speed. He crashed directly into the building behind him, collapsing it and burying himself beneath the rubble.

"Gulp..."

Seeing this, every member of the Donquixote Family present swallowed hard.

"Lord Diamante was suppressed?"

"How... how is that possible... He's one of the Donquixote Family's highest-ranking officers!"

"Who exactly is this man? How could someone like this exist in North Blue?"

The Donquixote Family members looked at Yun Ye with fear written all over their faces.

They did not even dare launch an attack against him.

Yun Ye ignored those underlings. Though they were not weak, they were far too weak in his eyes.

Pushing aside the rubble, Diamante emerged and looked at Yun Ye, fear flashing through his eyes.

If he had not swung that sword at the last moment, then even with a cape made from special metal, he would still have suffered serious injuries!

Even though his sword aura had weakened Yun Ye's lightning pillar, the two attacks had erupted at close range. Diamante was still swept away by the shockwave and blasted backward.

"When did a powerhouse like you appear in North Blue? A lightning ability... are you a Logia user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit? No, that's not right. You can't be a Logia!"

Diamante looked at Yun Ye, his eyes filled with vigilance.

When lightning had erupted behind Yun Ye and a lightning pillar had appeared in his hand, Diamante had thought Yun Ye possessed the Logia Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

But after examining him closely, he realized that was not the case!

When Logia users unleashed their abilities, they had to elementalize part of their bodies. Careful observation could still reveal it.

Yun Ye clearly had not done that when he attacked!

"Heh, take a guess." Yun Ye did not explain further. His abilities all came from the system, and even Yun Ye himself did not know how to explain them.

Call it the Death God Template Fruit?

That sounded awful!

So, he might as well let others fill in the blanks themselves.

What others came up with would sound more convincing than anything he could rack his brains to invent!

Diamante looked at Yun Ye's expression and tested the waters.

Insufficient intelligence was an enormous disadvantage in battle.

One careless mistake, and you could easily be overturned by a hidden trick!
