The barbecue restaurant.
The three who remained were surprisingly harmonious.
Choza Akimichi courteously shared the grilled meat with Yamanaka Inoichi and Nara Shikaku. Compared to before, his attitude had improved by leaps and bounds.
"Choza, well done. You got rid of those two eyesores!" Nara Shikaku praised.
To outsiders, the Akimichi clan were merely seen as honest, simple-minded fat men. Only the Yamanaka and Nara, who dealt with them regularly, knew that while these fat men were indeed fat, they were far from lacking in cunning.
Beneath their broad, hefty bodies, their hearts were a size larger than everyone else's.
And with larger hearts came sharper eyes than ordinary people.
Their fatness was merely a disguise.
"Hehe, those two ate quite a lot. If they'd stayed here any longer, my heart would've ached." Choza Akimichi brushed it off and continued eating and drinking, busy as could be.
"Shikaku, what should we do about Lady Tsunade from now on?" Yamanaka Inoichi asked curiously.
Only the three of them were here now, and none were outsiders, so there was no problem discussing private matters.
Nara Shikaku smiled. "Do whatever we should be doing, of course."
Yamanaka Inoichi was confused. "Didn't they say Lady Tsunade was preparing to delegate her authority?"
"She'll definitely delegate some authority, but who knows how she intends to do it, or which departments she'll hand over?"
"Huh?" Yamanaka Inoichi looked even more confused.
Seeing this, Choza Akimichi kindly gave him several pieces of grilled meat.
"Inoichi, eat more. No need to be polite with me."
Yamanaka Inoichi looked at the meat, shook his head helplessly, and began eating at an unhurried pace.
"Inoichi, don't overthink it. Let me ask you this: if Lady Tsunade is willing to delegate authority, will your current status and position improve greatly afterward?"
